TheOneKEA
Miles Hundredlives was killed at the end of The Alloy of Law, and when he died he spoke a phrase that was reminiscent of the death rattles seen on Roshar. http://www.theoryland.com/intvmain.php?i=948 has a question asked by Mason Wheeler: All right. And related to that, sometimes some little concepts kind of... cross worlds. When Miles [from The Alloy of Law] died, who was talking there? Him, or someone else? Wow, that's a really excellent question. And I'm afraid I'm going to have to RAFO that.I would be interested to know if we'll get any clues about what Miles was talking about when he died, and if it really was a death rattle, or if it was something else.
Redbird he/him
The theory I have heard was that he was talking about the southern Scadrians, but maybe it was whoever is influencing all the other things.
EmanEmal he/him
As I recall Miles used golden spikes spiked into him for metal minds. That and his actions at the exicutions reminded me alot of Ruin controling the steel inquizaters. And while it would appear that if that were true he would be under the control of Sazed not whomever else I am thinking that Hemalurgy just left a hole in his spiritweb (Or whatever that is called) and a third party backdoored him and made him go all crazy and bandity for whatever reason. I might just be jumping to conclusions here, hemalurgy could not be involved, but after spook and the sword I have been working under the assumption that everyone in mistborn with peircings is under forign mind influance, especialy everyone that starts acting weird or talking crazy, or seeing things. The sword passed through a thug before ending up in spook, so unless the metal was stabbed through someone else first, they are just earrings. As I recall Miles used golden spikes spiked into him for metal minds. They were not spikes, just metal minds, there were also filaments in his arms. Kaymyth she/her
The sword passed through a thug before ending up in spook, so unless the metal was put stabbed someone else first, they are just earrings. Metal pierced into someone's body does not hemalurgy make; it has to be used to kill someone/take their Investiture/steal a piece of their soul before it can gain a hemalurgic charge. Miles pierced his skin with his metalminds to A ) make them difficult/impossible to Steelpush/Ironpull them, and B ) to make them accessible for compound burning. Unhinged he/him
The one thing that got me was when he says "worship Trell and wait". I'm starting to wonder if he was just being delusional or if the Trelagists might not have been as wrong as the other 300 or so religions in the path? Do we have any words of Brandon regarding this? I think it's possible that another shard could be headed to Scadrial and miles was just the first to see/feel/be influenced by its coming.
hoidhunter he/him
"Bearers of the Final metal"...I remeber reading something about "harmonium"...Which would be the last metal to be added to the pool of allomantic metals...do you think Miles (or whatever was acting through him) knows something about this?
