If we want to know what happens to the metals after being burn, we need to know how they're being burned and make an assumption based on that. The metals aren't being digested, because it was mentioned in the first book that the metals are hard to pass. This means that the metal reserves could actually be an organ (if it was, it would probably be the appendix,) but probably not. Hmmmm.

Also, I'm assuming you guys have considered, (and for some reason decided not to?) incorporate a WoB section into 17th Shard itself, instead of in theoryland? Seems like an organization like 17th shard would have a library ;)  Even if it was just a forum that only specific people could add to, so they could all be posted, but everyone could see/source them to the same place, and then the answers would also pop up in a forum search, as opposing to have to search both here and on theoryland? (which, I hate the search and the interface there, but that's irrelevant) I've seen similar things before, and I've seen a couple of attempts at compilation threads, but there are too many WoBs....It needs its own forum with limits on who can create new threads, and each interview be a thread with comments locked down so it's ONLY the WoBs, and discussion has to take place elsewhere.

Theoryland, with it's database search, is far more efficient than a compilation thread on this site would be. The ultimate goal for the Brandon part of Theoryland is to have all WoBs there, not some there and some here on this site. In addition, linking to direct WoBs on Theoryland is much easier than linking to one on this site (for one, you can only link to a post on this site, not an individual WoB, if multiple WoB are contained in one post). Though I agree that the interface is not the easiest to use, having a true compilation on this website woud be even worse. In my opinion the interface is tolerable though, with my only wish that we could search non-WoT only, rather than WoT WoJs and WoBs being included (particularly now that WoT is done).

As I understood the novels, the metal you ingest goes to your stomach. Like food, then, it remains there until it is either digested or burned, with the burning mechanism being unknown.

I realize that the goal is to get everything on Theoryland, but I am thinking more long term. Theoryland is a WoT devoted website, not Cosmere. And the amount of info we have is going to grow exponentially as Brandon publishes books and continues to do signings. I suppose if Theoryland is going to be around for the long haul now that WoT is completed, that's fine, I can see the benefits of a database, but it's already getting difficult to sort through the zillion things from WoT and Jordan as compared to Cosmere and Brandon, especially for more vague subjects that people refer to by many different names and phrasings, or random things such as eye color. I can only see this getting more cumbersome in the future. Plus there are a plethora of things in there that don't have anything to do with the books themselves. I realize the wiki is also theoretically going to be more fleshed out with a lot of these things at some point, and it was just a thought, that it seems like the website that's supposed to be the official Brandon site, should also have all the WoBs that are technically considered canon. Whether that means some kind of database specific to cosmere or incorporating something into the forums. I realize you can't link to individual posts, that's why I said I thought each signing or interview needed a topic. Except in a few cases, there's not so many from one place that you can't sort through them rather rapidly, especially if non-relevant information is removed (ie, WoT questions, and questions that have no bearing) Less because it's an issue now and more because if the fanbase continues to grow and the amount of info does as well, I feel like it's going to come up as an issue more and more often. But that's just my take on it ;)

You make some valid points as to why it hasn't already been done, and that's really all I was looking for.
