Anyone read this? I am trying to figure out if this is just a book with a bunch of hype or something different. At $50, it is very expensive for a book. When I go to the site and look at the FAQ and videos I see a bunch of really vague hype about how this is a totally new experience.

When I look at it, it looks like 1 book, written by several authors, and a message board. I see some vague stuff about how the message board is part of the story, but it sounds like its just a place for people to chat.

The reviews of the story are mixed.

Is it more than this? It sounds like its alot of hype and basically another book.

Never heard of it, but looking into it really quick, it looks like it was originally released as a serialized story on android/iOS, and the apps for them are still available. The android app, at least, appears to be free.

Where are you living that this costs $50?

Neal Stephenson leads it, but there are other authors. I downloaded the Mongoliad app for my Ipad. It was $50 to get to the story.

Read pirated version, if its worth 50$ then pay for it.

I think its a collaborative story telling thing. I have it on my to-read list.

Did anyone else look at this and first see Mongoloid?

Its hard to understand how this title got green-lighted.
