The thing in the background seems like either a short story, or part of the second Mistborn trilogy. I feel like Kelsier would be referred to as The Survivor rather than Kelsier were it one of the Wax/Wayne books. As for the secret thing.... maybe a new Shardworld and a new series that he hasn't mentioned yet?

I would agree with this in general, but what if we were to get a POV from Marsh? He certainly wouldn't refer to his own brother as "The Survivor". That's what I'm hoping this means - a Marsh POV in the AoL era.

 

Or possibly it's a series of epigrams, written all at once before being separated out for individual chapters?

That could work, but I want it to be the second trilogy.

Why on earth does he NOT have Kelsier added to his dictionary? He's only used a couple hundred times in the MB trilogy.

 

If anything, it's proof that it's not Kelsier. Why would Kelsier have a red line, but not Luthadel? Sorry everyone, but it's not him.
