I bought "Way of Kings" a while back for something to read on public transport. After reading it and enjoying it thoroughly, I bought Words of Radiance this year. And also all the rest of the Cosmere works. I have low self control in that way.

Anyway, I've lurked here for long enough, so why not join now? Look forward to interacting with everyone!

Welcome to the 17th Shard forums, Username! I also have low self control, which makes me post every single Cosmere theory that comes to mind, no matter how silly.

 

People from one of the Guilds will undoubtedly start recruiting you, soon. If you're not into that sort of thing, might I suggest you peruse the Sanderson-related discussions on the Brandon Sanderson board? There's also a separate one for Brandon's non-Cosmere works (Steelheart, Alcatraz, Legion, etc.).

I might have lied by omission here -  I don't own the Emperor's Soul. But my favourite so far has to be Words of Radiance. I'm a sucker for worldbuilding, so Roshar has got it's claws into me real good by this point.

What region or place in Roshar would you most like to visit?

That's a great question, actually - since I'm a sucker for world building, I have actually thought about that. Khabaranth seems like an interesting city, and one where Highstorms wouldn't be too much of a problem, but then again Taravangian. The Purelake would be wonderful to visit but I don't think I could live there - I don't like fish enough. So I'm gonna say the Reshi Islands. Can't go past islands on the back of living creatures.
