What should we start with?

Hey guys,

We're torn on where we should start with Companions, so we're throwing it to you! The book has to have the annotations out, but other than that, what would you like us to start with?

I say you should start with Elantris. Its got a lot of interesting stuff that hasn't gotten looked at. Plus our knowledge and conversation of Elantris is probably the lowest of all the Cosmere books, which I think is a shame. I really like Elantris. Plus, I can see some fun when you look at the Chapter 23 Annotation.

Although the Mistborn trilogy is currently my favorite, I think you should start in the order written, so Elantris should come first, then Mistborn.

Same here. I think it would be best to go in order of release, so Elantris, then the Mistborn Trilogy.

I agree with what the others have said; doing readthroughs in the order of the published books seems like it makes the most sense. Plus, that way as new books come out, the ordering is consistent!

It probably makes the most sense for the companion to be done in the order they were written. Plus, it gives me an excuse to read Elantris again, which I haven't done in YONKS!

So, it appears Elantris is the winner. We'll get started on this once I get back to my regular work hours (mornings SUCK!) and have a brain again.
