BinarySecond Posted yesterday at 07:50 AM Posted yesterday at 07:50 AM (edited) I suspect they are probably F tier troops but Dakhor monks do exist (I just remembered they exist). In terms of crudeness it's not dissimilar to Koloss but it seems a much more involved process. Even on Sel I think Elantrians probably sweep the board - Though the according to the coppermind (I haven't read Elantris in years) says that ante Reod an invasion by Dakhor of Elantris was planned so maybe they thought they had a chance. In any case, I think we don't align on the capacity of Elantrians and how difficult it would be for them to expand their repertoire at this time, so we'll just have to agree to disagree on this topic. Fair enough. After all, we know practically nothing of how advanced their AonDor is (the ones we see being noobs and the whole book set an unknown amount of time before our date). 8 hours ago, BinarySecond said: I suspect they are probably F tier troops but Dakhor monks do exist (I just remembered they exist). I don’t recall that. Rather, Sanderson said his plan for the next book is for Wyrn to try and exclude Elantris from whatever he needs to rule to enact his plan. He did say the weakening from being away from Elantris is a reason they never took over the rest though.
BinarySecond Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I don't recall that particular element either. Reading the chapter summaries this morning Raoden destroys one of the monks and tells the others to leave. I don't think they'd even have a chance against "true" Elantrians.
