TheUnInvestedCremling he/him.... Posted May 26 Posted May 26 (edited) Welcome, first of all i hope i get the topic forum right at least this time anyways recently at my college i learnt about the wonderful Socrates! He kinda stuck to me so I decided i'd spread my admiration to y'all. Type in bold for a statement Type in italics for random comments that don't follow with the actual statement To question a statement, just reply to it, you can reply to a reply to make a question chain. If it gets too chaotic (prob won't) i'll figure smthng out. statements can and arent restricted to the cosmere I'll give the starting statement: Kelsier is the strongest in the entirety of Mistborn Lets start questioning! TheUnInvestedCremling he/him.... Posted May 27 Author Posted May 27 But technically, that was the rosharan ghostbloods and not necessarily the entire group.
GG0z He/Him Posted May 27 Posted May 27 But technically, Hoid beat Kelsier up when he was stuck at the Well.
Keteᛕ He/Him/His Posted May 27 Posted May 27 But if you think about it, everything Hoid does makes the people he manages to actually beat up stronger
Ink and Embers Any pronouns Posted May 27 Posted May 27 So Hoid would be more powerful on account of being able to make anyone else stronger
Keteᛕ He/Him/His Posted May 27 Posted May 27 But Hoid is usually only powerful when he uses tricky maneuvers rather than actual strength
Through the Living Potato He/Him Posted May 27 Posted May 27 But Hoid could only hurt Kelsier because of the Cognitive Shadow loophole.
Keteᛕ He/Him/His Posted May 27 Posted May 27 But Hoid ignores loopholes, so that wouldn't change anything anyways
GG0z He/Him Posted May 27 Posted May 27 But Hoid is a walking oxymoron, so by ignoring loopholes he doesn’t ignore them
Keteᛕ He/Him/His Posted May 27 Posted May 27 But he treats life like a joke sometimes, so he will get off topic like this while doing more important things that don't require being powerful in the background.
Keteᛕ He/Him/His Posted May 27 Posted May 27 (edited) WaT Spoiler Spoiler was a dawnshard Edited May 27 by Through The Living Ketek
Keteᛕ He/Him/His Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Just now, GG0z said: Sunlit man spoiler Reveal hidden contents Is a Dawnshard Sunlit Man/personal theory Spoiler Hoid still has said Dawnshard (Exist). However, because all the Dawnshards are unique, and in turn probably give different types of effects, the Exist Dawnshard may not be as powerful as it is sustaining. Sustainability and power are very different; one can be relied on while another relies on.

For Sig/Nomad/Zellion, it is his Torment
Keteᛕ He/Him/His Posted May 27 Posted May 27 But, if you look at the big picture, power is a complex term. Power can be different types: mental, physical, spiritual; and also is relative, seeing as even within just mistborn, Mistborn spoilers Spoiler there are 4 godlike entities (Preservation, Ruin, Harmony/Discord, and Autonomy/Trell) So what do we really mean by power?
GG0z He/Him Posted May 27 Posted May 27 The ability to control others through some sort of strength or other attribute?
Keteᛕ He/Him/His Posted May 27 Posted May 27 In that case, soothers and rioters would be the most powerful.
