I go by glup, I'm not exactly a brandon sanderson fan but I did read The Way of Kings.  Nothing much else, but I do plan on reading a bit more of it. Huge fan of cosmic horror, environmental horror and fantasy, if you guys could recommend me any reads I'll gladly check it out.

Welcome to the Shard! You've arrived at the best place on the Internet, filled with the best people, the best desserts, and the best murderous animals!

Here are a couple of tips to help you settle in to your new place as a cog in the Grand Apparatus that is the Shard:

1. Join S(anderson) E(limination).

2. Familiarize yourself with the most important forums: SE, Cosmere Q&A, and SE.

3. Tell us exactly which books you have and haven't read (this helps us avoid spoilers)

4. HAVE FUN! Make friends!

5.

The more people you interact with, the more people it's acceptable for you to follow, and then those people will feel obliged to follow you.

And then you get rep and cool yellow words under your name.

I'm personally not a huge horror person, but I did really love reading The Shining, so that's definitely a recommendation if you haven't read it.

How much Lovecraft have you read? (I'm assuming you've read some, as he is potentially the most prolific cosmic horror writer.)

The Cthulu Mythos is expansive and fascinating.

If you're willing to read/watch a manga/anime, then Junji Ito has some of the best cosmic horror I've seen.

Junji Ito: 10 Best Stories from Japan's Master of Horror

As for environmental horror, ever read Annihilation? It's centered around "reflective" hyperevolution (if you wish for more details in that regards, just ask. But for now, I won't elaborate.) which is always fascinating.

If you haven't the time to read it, its also got a film.

Annihilation is great. It explores some various philosophical themes too. Some slight extraterrestial elements, but that's just to get the plot moving.
