Would you mind telling us what books you’ve read? (Or not read if that list is shorter)

Welcome to the shard, I want to snuggle all of your pets. Mind telling us what books you've read?

Jdtaylor0788 Posted May 23 Author Posted May 23 Oh wow, that is a great question. Let's see...Kaladin, Jasnah, Kelsier, Hoid, Khrissalla, Starling. The knowledge and passion in that group would be insane. The arguments between Kaladin an Jasnah would be interesting for sure. I think Kelsier would also be wild to watch interact with those two. Especially with Hoid egging it all on. The favorite magic system is a hard one. I really like the balance and mathmatic precision from Scadrial. I also love the passion, oaths and power from Roshar.

That's like... 3 more than I have! Alrighty tighty Do you like Dragons? Wayne? What Twinborn combo (compounding and non) are your favorites? What Radiant Order's Ideals resonate (bud ump ch) the most with you? What Order's Surges do you like the most? Are you currently open to book recs? Did you know that on the bottom of someone's post, you can click the 'quote' button, and that allows you to easily notify those you are responding too? And that you can highlight text and quote individual parts of a post?
Jdtaylor0788 Posted May 23 Author Posted May 23 I did not know that! This is the first forum I have done so thanks for the insight! How do I highlight text to reply to specific questions? I really enjoy Sandersons take on Dragons. I can't wait to see more. Wayne is one of my favorite characters. I think everyone underestimates him, even Wax. He hides his intelligence very very well by pretending to be immature and silly. He also has what would probably be my favorite combo. I resonate most with the wind runners. I really like how Brandon wrote the conflict and difficulty of being able to overcome the conflict of wanting to be able to save everyone but accepting that you cant. They're logical and compassionate. They will uterly destroy their enemies, but they dont enjoy hurting or killing. I really like the elsecallers surges though. Just that one fight where Jasna unleashes on the battlefield is just so badass. What do you mean book recs?

At this point, you're just being rude. 21 hours ago, Jdtaylor0788 said: Thats a little more difficult. I enjoy physically reading too, just no where near the time I would like too do so. Especially with a good book. Ok, so I'm going to recomend you a webnovel, and you can either click the link and read (in my not-so-humble opinion) the best book ever written, or you can not click it, because it is 551 chapters, translated from Korean, and has spelling errors, and I will never know nor judge you for it. I understand some people just don't like these kinds of things, and that is ok. https://www.orv.pages.dev/stories/orv/read/ch_1 But, if you do decide to read it, and find yourself enjoying it, PM me and I can add you to a Group Chat full of other people who are also reading it.
