coldfuzion76 he/him Posted May 20 Posted May 20 So here I go. Been a big Sanderson fan since WOT (very grateful he finished the series I started in my childhood!). I’m currently filling in the gaps in the Cosmere after my second listen through of Mistborn and Stormlight. Not sure what has been different this time, but it’s really been helping me with my mental health, seeing the trials of the characters and how they learn and grow from them. With the realizations that I’ve been having, and after taking the quiz, I have been led to say the first ideal of the Truthwatchers, and seek my personal truths. As I go through them, I’m happy to have found this community. Life before death! 3

For my favorite? That's a tough one, especially on my second go around and as I pick up the newer books and ones I missed. At this moment I'm going to probably say Wind and Truth. Kaladin's journey resonated so much with me. I do try so hard to help people sometimes that I get frustrated and forget or ignore helping myself. There's plenty of other examples I can think of, but this one hit me the hardest.

I liked it but there are a lot of fans that werent the biggest of it.

I wasn't thrilled with the cliffhanger ending with everyone separated across the realms, but the character development is what really drew me in. Kaladin like I said, but also Renarin to some extent. I'm pretty socially awkward myself, so I really related to his shyness and anxiety. I feel like both of them really overcame a lot of their personal obstacles in this book, and that's helped me with my personal journey.

(doesn't have a personal chapter) Gotta say, I’ve really thought about this one. There’s so many that I like. But it think I’m going to go with Leyten. I like the way he fits in with bridge four, working with the armor and gear. I can see myself doing something by like that. I do love my gadgets.

Who is your favourite Mistborn character (can be either Era)?

Era one, I’m gonna say Captain Demoux. I don’t have much faith in anything myself, so I admire that he never lost his. Era 2, I’m gonna say Allik, because everything is better with sweets. 1
KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren He/Him Posted May 20 Posted May 20 Welcome to the Shard! If you could invite any 6 Sanderson characters to a party, who would you invite?

If you could invite any 6 Sanderson characters to a party, who would you invite? Oh, that’s fun! And challenging to limit it to 6. Let’s see, Adolin Kholin for sure, seems like he’d be fun, and he could bring Shallan and Pattern. Rock is a must if nothing else for the food, Allik for deserts. Wayne from Mistborn would have to be a blast (pun intended). Hoid for entertainment, and finally Kaladin now that he’s better and he comes with Syl as a plus one. I know I cheated a little there with the plus ones, but I wouldn’t want to offend!
