spoiler cuz it's depressing

Spoiler

question for y'all: what would you do if you knew you were gonna die in 3 days?

what would you do if you realized you were on the truman show (basically if you realized your whole life was fake, that everyone around you was either fake or actors...)

what about if you knew when you were going to die either from a young age or from birth?

if everyone in the world but you died in an instant?

if you got a life you want, then realized you don't want it. Like, win the lottery then bad stuff, i guess.

imagine you and someone you despise were the last two people on earth, what would you do? get along and survive or fight? how does this change with different people? like, someone in school/work/family vs a popular figure / celebrity you don't really "know" irl.

If you slowly felt yourself dying (moreso than we already are...) but couldn't do anything about it? You either couldn't tell anyone, or they wouldn't listen if you did. There was nothing wrong with you as far as others could see, but you were nearing death and it was soon.

You were swapped with a random person (freaky friday, yumi, etc.) in the world. You had their body (and they yours), and you had knowledge of their life (and they yours), and you and they still had knowledge of your each own lives (otherwise there would be no change). For instance, if you got swapped with someone and everyone around them speaks a language you wouldn't know in your life, you gain their knowledge/mind and thus naturally speak their language. Like Yumi, I suppose, except without the stuff.

If you could restart your life, or get a new one, would you? What if you could imbue some knowledge or otherwise have control over *some* aspects of it, while you still had your current one, before going to that one?

oops turned into many

you watched Star Wars? if yes, then watch Spaceballs

I am nothing if not optimistic, but only when it comes to movies.

But then I have quite low standards for movies.

I am not really excited for most new movies because they are likely the 5th rerun, and I just want something new and exciting.

Spoiler

This puts me in a tight spot because I want certain Indie shows to get a second season, but it feels hypocritical because of my opinions toward Hollywood.

This would be so much fun, but I worry that it’s not because people want it but because higher ups in a company want to print money and they are finding new bottoms of the barrel to scrape.

True. If they don't call it "the search for more money," then they are doing it wrong

Yes, but counter point: what if that is the low hanging fruit?

Spoiler

Who am I kidding they have to call it the search for more money!

They explicitly said it in the movie
