but also found a few at thrift stores

I saved money for 13 years and am now incessenty spending :3

Plus I explicitly asked for only Sanderson things from my extended family for my birthday and already got SA and Mistborn trilogy for Christmas. As this point everyone knows to give me books. And Barnes & noble gift cards. Not a holiday (where I would get something) has passed in 5 years where I don't get at least 2.

I get most of them in paperback, because a) I need to maximize space on my bookshelves and paperbacks are usually smaller b) they’re cheaper so I get more books total c) often easier to find and d) SA is hard enough to carry around as a paperback. Though it looks somewhat more impressive in hardcover.

I borrowed WoR from my friend. It was in paperback. The cover was half gone

I don't have a lot of cosmere books, sadly. I have the first mistborn trilogy, elantris, and skyward, all softcover. And then recently I got the first 3 books of SA when my library was getting rid of them, so their covers are like ripped off and they're super worn out but I love them anyway! 

I keep telling my parents I want books for holidays, and they haven't got me any in a while. They say we have 'too many books'. I have no clue what they're talking about.
