tbh if you want you can read through THT posts lol but it's a lot i know

you csn get clothing that is more feminine but also.. less obvious, or more androgynous/gender-neutral, especially if you aren't out yet and/or don't want people to know yet. It can be as simple as getting pjs, hoodies, pants (cargo, jeans, sweatpants, etc.) from the women's section. They're more feminine and can feel nice and be affirming and comfortable and also yeah.

Yeah I do live with parents. They’re open allies, but like… my mom is always like “so, do you like anyone? any pretty girls? Or guys, if you like guys that’s perfectly normal” but she actually rarely talks about trans. Like, I know she supports it, but I can’t think of a time she really mentions it. She did buy a birdhouse today with a pride flag hanging in front and scared me for a second. And my dad… he is an open ally, but didn’t exactly grow up as one, and is trying really hard to change on all those things, but he’s still… him. Very masculine. And he’s always like “men should always have money with them” “why is your hair so long, it’s rather… feminine. WAIT NO ANYONE CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT OOPS” “men should whatnot” and it usually makes me want to bash my head into a wall. Gently. So… I don’t know what his reaction would be.

I don’t know, but my hair is probably not exactly what one imagines a boy with long hair. It looked just like Vin’s for most of my life, and for the last year has been… like if Vin refused to get a haircut for a year. Not Vin anymore, but not how boys usually wear long hair.
