Would it be possible for someone to bond a shard? Spren are just slivers of shards, so doesn't that imply you can bond a shard?

Do you mean bonding with a Shard that has a Vessel, or becoming the Vessel for a Shard. The second one I would agree with, but the first feels different for reasons I can't fully put into words. A spren bond is a Nahel bond, a symbiotic relationship that trades power for cognition. A Vessel/Shard bond feels exactly like this. A Shard can absolutely Invest someone, but I don't know if they can form bonds in the same way that a spren can. Avatars or Heralds are probably an example of the first scenario.

Coppermind:

Spoiler

Nahel bond page:

Spoiler

It's a symbiotic relationship, granting the spren the ability to manifest into the Physical Realm without losing their mind. In the case of a sapient individual in the Physical Realm, it grants the person the power of Surgebinding as well. ... Aviar are a great example of a non-rosharan Nahel Bond. It is identified by an ability to understand the others thoughts and share the ability to use Investiture, such as how Sak can share his precognition with Dusk and how when Dusk Navigates, his Aviar can sense the Current as well.

Shard of Adonalsium page:

Spoiler

Shards are able to grant powers and abilities to the individuals of their planets ... Those who are given a power from a Shard form a Connection with them

Shards can also create avatars, personas that can act independently of them ... An Avatar can be a form of self-aware power split off from the Shard, or can be a person heavily Invested and chosen to act as an emissary of their will

Hope this helps

Depends on how you are defining it but (Hero of Ages and Rhythm of War Spoilers):

Spoiler

That's what Vin, Sazed and Tarvangian did by becoming Vessels.

I have read all cosmere book, I am basically asking if you could bond the power without holding the shard yourself but still have a bond to the shard giving you immense power.

Like if the vessel were to create a powerful bond between someone else and the shard giving that other person power but still keeping the shard.

So not a Nahel Bond?

You mean, like pre-Vessel Vin being able to burn the mists for Preservation's power? Like Dalinar inexplicably summoning Honor's Perpendicularity?

That's what is called an Avatar (such as Telsin in Era 2 Mistborn). An avatar may be self-aware on its own (Patji), or have a Vessel (Trell) - but is not diconnected from the Shard's powere the way a Splinter is.
