The Unknown Medallion he/him Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) AG12 - Finale: Final Breaths <Callsign: Pearl Chameleon> Pearl Chameleon had heard their discussions. They thought Pearl was a Saboteur. True or not, the Coinshots wouldn't care. Pearl was as hidden as possible, but they knew it wasn't enough. They heard footsteps coming down the hall. Pearl had to fight, or die. Pearl Chameleon burst through the doorway, holding a gun in each hand. They turned to the first movement they saw and fired. Something hit Pearl Chameleon's back, and with a single push, the coin that, Pearl realized, had just pushed through their heart, came flying back towards them, the bullets Pearl had fired in tow. Pearl Chameleon stumbled, and fell. ⋘ ──── ∗ ⋅◈⋅ ∗ ──── ⋙ <Callsign: Melon Dingo> (Provided by Melon Dingo) Stormseeker the Cowardly ran to his room at full speed. He needed to get away from that disaster. Why were there so many lurchers on this ship? Nothing was going to plan? Ships like this were SUPPOSED to have a certain crew composition. He knew that now after absorbing the memories from the book. A ship like this was supposed to have significantly fewer Lurchers and Coinshots. Something was wrong. He opened the door to his room just to find her sitting on the floor, waiting. “What is going on on this ship??!” Stormseeker shouted, but his voice came out at normal speaking volume, the air warping around him as if he could see the air viscosity thicken followed by a few echoes of what he said. “Quiet. Now. And close the door.” she snapped as a bird floated down from the light onto her shoulder. Her brown eyes turned blue for a second, looking around as if she wasn’t looking at the room. “There are at least 2 people nearby who would have heard you if not for Peaches here.” The Aviar chirped happily, “There's going to be three Kases!” She smiled at the bird for a moment in thanks, what looked like decades of pain and struggle suddenly wiped off her face. How old was she? But it all came back when she looked back at Stormseeker. “As I told you before, It’s imperative this ship DOES NOT” she said, a small shiver appearing in the air, “make it back to Scadrial”. The 5 of you were chosen specifically. And look at what you did? Especially you! You’re all proud of your luck. What luck is that when it’s based on killing those you’re supposed to work beside! What did you ask of the night watcher?” Stormseeker thought for a moment. He didn’t remember his meeting with the Night Watcher. That was back when he was Steve Evans. A person he hardly knew. “I asked for lu-” “No you rusting didn’t,” the woman whispered angrily. “I’ve never seen a more unlucky person in my life. Everything you try to do has failed on this ship. The only miracle is you weren’t the first person found out on this ruinous ship” and she stormed out of the room. Peaches started to fly off after her but turned around for a second. “Noted” the bird said with… a seeming question? It cocked its head for a second and flew away. How could she say he was unlucky! She didn’t know his life like he did. He wracked his brain thinking of all of his miraculous escapes and… it did start to look like perhaps he was often the reason he needed to escape in the first place? He led that mission against a much smaller rosharan force last year. With his strategy and his ships they were completely demolished. To his knowledge he was the only survivor. He was somehow promoted after that experience to help guide captain Vulture into being one of the greats but… Vulture was already one of the greats. He had led some of the most infamous raids and missions in the past and was taking a well deserved retirement. He had tried to sabotage the engines before Isabel was sent and all he did was make them go faster for a time. And now he had contributed to the deaths of 2 of his mission mates, Dugh and Arnold? Maybe his handler was right? Maybe he was unlucky? If that was true, how was he supposed to come even close to taking down the SS TYRIAN by himself?! And then he had an idea. ⋘ ──── ∗ ⋅◈⋅ ∗ ──── ⋙ <Callsign: Melon Dingo (provided by Melon Dingo)> Stormseeker the Enlightened, Steve Evans of Hallandren, Traitor of Nalthis, wore Melon with Coral trim on the night he was to make his last stand. He knew he would not be making it off the SS TYRIAN alive; any attempt otherwise would probably guarantee his death. However, with his luck, he could try to help the crew escape the pirates. Stormseeker passed by the crowd gathered, as was so common, by Zense. The trap last night had failed, and more than ever the crew looked to Zense for comfort and leadership. After stumbling and accidentally disturbing the music, He continued walking and headed towards the engine room. He went in and saw the 4 stations with different allomantic fuels necessary: Steel, Pewter, Bendalloy, & Duralumin. There was a shovel at the side and Stormseeker started shoveling the metals into the appropriate allomantic areas when the door flew open and in walked one of the crew. What was their name again? Like Darren or Dennis or something? The man looked for a moment at Stormseeker, confused about what he was doing here, but smiled. “Thanks Stormseeker, that’s hard work and I wasn’t looking for-” he paused and looked closer at the labels, “rust and ruin Stormseeker, these labels aren’t in the right place. this is all wrong! This is going to need a lot of work. I’ll need space. Stormseeker apologized profusely and backed out, making sure to keep the smile off his face until fully out of the room. The strategy of trying to help was working… somehow… Maybe he’d be able to pull this off after all… It was then the intercom came on. Stormseeker please report to the mess hall. I repeat, Stormseeker please report to the mess hall *click* That couldn’t be good. Why did he have to seal off the bridge? Now that it was operational, anyone could use it. Stormseeker rushed over there to see what was going on. “Well well well” Said Turquise Gorrilla, “We found THIS in Zense’s rooms!” and brandished a vial of metals. It was unclear just from looking at it what the metal was, but Stormseeker had a sinking feeling he knew. “We found a Bronze vial” Gorilla continued, “and this of course only leaves you and Flamingo as possible suspects. What do you have to say for yourself!” “TYRIAN PURPLE!” Commanded Stormseeker and his bag spat out 2 small TYRIAN purple bags. One laced in silver and the other plain. Gorilla saw the bags and took a few steps back, “It was you!” Not responding, he opened both bags and saw a Shade emerge with Mauve eyes from the silver-lined bag. It took one look at Gorilla and sped off after them. Stormseeker sat back. He couldn’t believe his luck. They had been found out and survived again. And they even had one of their friends back… kind of… it was better than them being fully dead at least. He peaked into the second bag and saw a handful of silver dust. That could always come in handy someday- There was a flash in the corner of his eye and Stormseeker bolted. Glancing behind him he saw the Shade of Adonalsium Storming Reborn on his heels now with Crimson eyes. Grabbing a pinch of silver and throwing it behind him, he fled. ⋘ ──── ∗ ⋅◈⋅ ∗ ──── ⋙ <Callsign: Azure Mouse> Jochen had been betrayed. He had always looked up to Fuchsia, even back when she had been just a third Lieutenant, and now she had betrayed the crew. She had set him on a wild goose chase, then disappeared. He wouldn't be distracted any more. He was going to find her. Jochen used his admin powers to fully access the ship, and he found the secret vents the Saboteurs were using to get around without the mob catching them. Then, with some clever triggers, he had used them to track Fuchsia Ostrich down. Now, he was going to confront her. He crawled through the twisting vents. It took him far too long, but he reached the hidden room where Fuchsia would face justice. Jochen steeled himself outside of the door. She had a Mistborn Medallion, he would only have one chance to catch her by surprise. Before Jochen could launch his attack, the vent swung open on its own, and he was face to face with the muzzle of a gun. ⋘ ──── ∗ ⋅◈⋅ ∗ ──── ⋙ <Callsign: Fuchsia Ostrich> “We have an intruder,” the man said. He claimed that he wasn't the leader of the Saboteurs, that he was merely using them for some higher goal. Fuchsia thought he was just trying to save face in the light of their imminent failure. “How? You said these vents were hidden,” Fuchsia questioned him, wary. “It's your own fault, actually. Your pet Mouse got into the vents, almost certainly using the permissions you gave him,” the man glowered at her. “Jochen? Why can't he just leave well enough alone. We need to go,” Fuchsia began gathering her things. The man scoffed. “Still too weak to take care of him? I guess I'll have to do it myself.” The man drew his gun and pointed it at the vent as it swung open. “Stop!” Fuchsia yelled, lunging for him. Melon Dingo Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) Wow what a great game. Not often you say that after getting smoked but I had a lot of fun (Anyone confused about my RP I reference RP from previous days in my GMPM which is copied in the elim doc) Interesting that basically no one lied about their roles all game? Just a small response to the previous day without looking back, Croc's vote timing looked like it was to save Kangaroo. I expected to go into analysis D2 and explain that but didnt have to... llol. But thats why he was on my elim reads. THEN I also did softclaim seeker before all the roleclaims and tried to imply Zebra was a lurcher which did kinda prove my Seeker ability... or at least thats what i was going for. That being said, VERY much did not expect all those roleclaims while I was offline xD Yup we started with 3 Seekers xD Edited January 13 by Melon Dingo
Indigo Weasel Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Wow this was fun, I was not able to play it how I liked to

Scarlet Octopus Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Chiji walked through the hallways that night. There was a bit of blood staining his uniform from the kill, another dead end. "Ironeyes." He cursed. "I hope it went better for everyone else." He stepped into the mess hall to the sound of Roucus cheering. What had happened? Had the seekers found the last Sabetour? He asked around a bit, finding out he news. The Sabetour, Callsign Melon Dingo, had been found out and killed. All the Sabetours were dead. But he couldn't help feeling sad for the two villagers he had killed; if he had just stayed his hand, they would still be alive. "I'm so sorry." He said to no one in particular. "Toucan and I are the only people with innocent blood on our hands." He said, before turning and walking out of the mess to his quarters. Isn't it surprising how Toucan and I did a better job than the Elims Glad to have won, though, and with only 7 deaths and 2 innocents. We did a better job than I thought we would.

Taupe Gecko Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Wait I'm confused We won? Who killed Dingo? 28 minutes ago, The Unknown Medallion said: Melon Dingo was Seeked by Onyx Flamingo, and then killed by Melon Dingo! They were a Saboteur Seeker! What the flip 2 hours ago, Taupe Gecko said: H.E.A.R.T.H opened his eyes to blood. The stone was covered in blood, and bodies. His vision returned slowly, and it took him a second to remember where he was. Then came the panic. The footsteps continued to get closer, and with them, the whistling. It was melodic, like a song you would hum to children. He had never heard anything so frightening. H.E.A.R.T.H tried to stand, and when he couldn't lift more than an inch, to crawl, drag himself away. But his hands kept slipping on the blood, and his entire body spasmed with pain. He couldn't help it; he let out a groan. And then the footsteps stopped. They were right there. He was right there. H.E.A.R.T.H itched to swivel around, to strike whoever stood there, but he couldn't. His entire body had just... given up. He heard the figure crouch next to him, and shut his eyes. Perhaps this would be quick. Then, suddenly, the feel of cold skin on his face shocked him. The figure had grabbed his face and turned it. Tentative, H.E.A.R.T.H opened his eyes. The man looking down at him was human - a voidbringer with white hair and sharp features. And he didn't look frightened. H.E.A.R.T.H tried to speak, but he felt a warm wetness in his mouth, and all that came out was a low gurgle. "Shhhh," the figure reassured calmy. "You're hurt. Don't waste your energy." H.E.A.R.T.H stopped, and looked him up and down. The figure had turned to something else now - a bag. For a second, H.E.A.R.T.H hoped. For a second, he thought he stood a chance. Then the man pulled out a spike. H.E.A.R.T.H's heart accelerated. No. No. The figure sensed his anxiety, and turned to him. Once again, it shushed him. "Be quiet. This will all be over soon." Such a nice voice, for such a monster. H.E.A.R.T.H let out a final, voiceless scream as the spike came down on his face. When H.E.A.R.T.H next opened his eyes, he was in the present. As he stumbled to the mess hall, he was greeted by screams and cheers. The sounds of victory. They had done it. They... they had won. At that thought, a smile crept across H.E.A.R.T.H's robotic face. They had won. The smile was broken by a sudden spasm, and a red light appearing at the edges of H.E.A.R.T.H's vision. CHARGE VESSELS FAILING. REPLACEMENT NEEDED URGENTLY. H.E.A.R.T.H spasmed again. A tear came down his face. With all the strength he could muster, he tried to wheel over to the crowd. They were there. Right there. Finch... Chiji... Art. His friends. H.E.A.R.T.H tried to get their attention, but... they didn't see him. They were laughing. He spasmed again, harder this time. His wheels gave away, and he fell to the floor. A silent clatter. CHARGE VESSELS FAILING. SHUTTING DOWN PROTOCOL INITIATED. H.E.A.R.T.H's face was wet. He felt the feeling fade from his torso, then his arms. He felt fear. Oh, what a human thing to fear. In those moments... those final moments... H.E.A.R.T.H remembered everything. He remembered the boy and the gorge. Happiness. He remembered the man and the woman, the first death. Love. Spasm. He remembered war, and killing. Rage. He remembered the fields of damnation, the burning of fire and ash. Suffering. He remembered the Siege of Urithiru... he remembered the whistling. Fear. Spasm. He remembered... he remembered. The TYRIAN. His first voyage. He thought of his friends, of Zense and Levin, of Echo and Rane. Spasm. Oh, how wonderful it was to have friends. The shutdown reached his server, and his vision went black. He could feel it, racing through his cables, racing for his brain. Yet in that moment, H.E.A.R.T.H found peace. He imagined closing his eyes, falling asleep. He had live- SHUTTING DOWN PROTOCOL COMPLETED. HOID'S ELIM ANNIHILATING ROBOTIC TYRIAN HELPER TERMINATED.

I think my instincts just said the 4 Lurcher / 2 CS mystery were generally ML traps to avoid, and I couldn't fully justify it but my brain kept going back to "this doesn't make sense" despite what everyone was saying about balance which is where I wondered about Lion and Cham and then we started looking at Dingo / Flam worlds. But also holy hell we were converging on Dingo. The rollover exe crew is truly insane

Mint Heron Posted January 13 Posted January 13 FWIW I was 24th generation, I lied in a group PM Gecko made then stuck with the lie because, you know, consistency. (I lied because I wasn't sure if one of them was a deepwolf and figured I'd like that card up my sleeve so I picked a big and funny number so any of them if E would probably think I had nothing.) And then because I slandered them, Jo and TUM changed my generation to 42069th in my GM PM and said every other kandra's gen number changed to maintain order, so I was irrationally scared for a bit that Flam had acquired a number that would get them sussed for nothing, but also said nothing at first so I could verify if Flam really was a kandra or not
