Apparently the World Guide was written by a Worldhopper (I assume it's Khriss). I only read a few pages, but that info was right at the start. I think something online said that the majority of it is "written by" Khriss or someone. This makes it an in-world artifact I believe. This reminds me of in Sunlit Man when that Thaylen worldhopper brought the guidebooks with him. And then there are the AU essays. So, is the World Guide essentially one of those in-world guidebooks that worldhoppers read? It sure is written like one (some sections talk about how "I'm sure you already know all about this").

What about the quotes and artwork? Is the artwork simply recreations or photos and is actually present in the physical in-world guidebook? Or just included in the Earthen one by Brandon. What about the quotes? Are those part of what isn't "written by" Khriss?

Also:

(P. 2, About the Cosmere):

Quote

A description of the cosmere would fill endless libraries, but since you're reading this manuscript, surely your people know much of it already. In short, then cosmere encompasses everything that exists. All worlds, realms, powers, and people's find their place somewhere within the cosmere.

I'm pretty sure there is space beyond the cosmere (I can dig up some WoBs if you want.) so, does this just mean that whoever wrote that (Khriss?) and therefore most people in the cosmere are unaware of that fact? Because the cosmere doesn't encompass "everything that exists." We don't know if there is intelligent life in the rest of the universe, but there are certainly stars and (likely) planets.

Do the three realms extend beyond the cosmere?
