Good morning fellow folks of the 17th Shard. Here with my newest question about creationspren.

The coppermind says they can take any shape they want.

Spoiler

Creationspren form Lightweaver Plate.[146] After becoming armor spren, creationspren express some degree of personality and awareness, and are able to communicate feelings and impressions to their Lightweaver's mind.[149][150][151] Creationspren bonded to a Lightweaver are able to freely change their shape, and often appear as the beads of Shadesmar.[146][25] They can also be used as a model for the Lightweaver to command regular Shadesmar beads into a specific shape.[149][146]

With that I have to ask about a potential interaction.

Would a kandra of the 4th ideal, or perhaps unoathed, or even just a friend to a lightweaver, be able to be supported by these creationspren making up shardplate changing shape to replicate a skeleton?

A truebody made of compliant and cooperative creationspren would be totally dope. If the kandra had significant control they could likely morph with the creationspren into other skeletal structures mimicking animals or even just become larger or smaller on a whim. Not to mention swapping the creationspren from internal skeletal structure to an exoskeleton of plate.

I know that spren arent fans of hemalurgy, but I figure if any possible oath or bond could be made the lightweaver cryptic and creationspren are the most likely to recognize the kandra for a bond. Regardless of probability, I think the interaction remains the same.

You could do this with any Radiant Plate. That Coppermind entry is talking about what the actual Spren look like.

We do see an Honorspren (Syl) and a broken highspren (Aux) take any random shape they or their Radiant (or ex-Radiant) conceives of, from a pry bar to a gigantic metallic shelter. It just takes Investiture.

A 4th ideal Kandra is a moderately terrifying concept, but I think what interests me a bit more is how this would interact with Kandra Blessings. Hemalurgy doesn't necessarily repulse other investiture like it does to investiture with Preservation's intent, but would Shardplate be able to replace or replicate the effects of the Blessings by being worn internally?

I doubt it could, since just having the right shape and a bunch of investiture isn't the same kind of substance as what is in a kandra's blessings.

I do also think a sort of Radiant-body Kandra would be so cool. Getting the Lightweaver ability would let such a character be so specialized at deception and disguise, but I think there would be other really interesting stuff to think about how the old dominant cultural form of The Contract for the Kandra would feel as a point of comparison to the Oaths of the non-Lightweaver orders.
