She breaks away, stepping quickly and pulling the cloak over her head before crouching into an alley, then stepping out confidently hidden among the hustle and bustle.

She smiled as she stepped away quietly. She lost a lot of money, but the hassle of bribing a judge was much worse than losing coin. She didn’t have time to count out money, so the officer would be pleased to find nearly twice what he’d requested.
