[Ink and Embers Any pronouns]

Ink pulls an Uno Reverse Card out their bag and passes it to Ver. "This is drawing privileges. I can't remember where I left the writing one."

"Knitting is useful! It's a bit like DNA so it's easier to make lifeforms using it, like plants! Or kittens." They lift Quill, a kitten, up and peer at them intently. "Still not sure where they came from, though. Have I taken up sleep-knitting?"

They accidentally knock vir not-quite-mint-tea onto the ground, where it seeps between the floorboards and neon yellow spines sprout instead.

Verdance spits out his soda in surprise and jerks his leg away as the spines almost stab him in the leg. “Are there aether spores in the floor?”, he asks, incredulous.

“They’re all eldritch evil deities. Depression didn’t give me half as bad scarring as a cat ever did,” Verdance growls. His anger must be exaggerated, as he seems on the verge of violence. It’s hard to tell if he’s acting or not.

The concept of sadness is joyfully accepted into Verdance’s frame. “Thanks, I need more of that,” Verdance says. His general color scheme (which involves a ridiculous amount of green, with some black and white and even a little pink and gold) becomes a few hex points darker, but more saturated. “Yeah but…” he holds up his arm and pulls down the sleeve. There is clearly two sets of scars, one small, straight, and pink, the other, large, dramatic and jagged claw marks that outshine the first.

Point 2: ain’t no way Im paying thousands of dollars for someone to stare at me pretending to sleep again.” He looks down at the ghastly cyan paper gown. “GAH”, he onomatopoeizes, and the clothing flashes to a black skirt, then sleek leather armor, then a yellow bunny costume, then back to the characteristic viridean jacket and black jeans. “Geez, man.”

Verdance blinks. Good vibes smell like vanilla and old paper. How odd. He coughs, and some physical letters float out of his mouth, fading ibto oblivion. If anyone looks closely, it seems his body is rejecting excess happiness like too much sugar in the form of the lyrics to ALUCARDA (INOHA).
