She smirked, proud of herself, closed her eyes and tried once again to sleep.

Sleep came quickly. You dreamt of the undercity, you walked down the street, but it was vastly different from the undercity you knew. Children played freely, running up and down the street. There wasn't any more trash on the street. You walked into a bar, and the bar was lively and had a totally different atmosphere. It was peaceful, much better than the bars at the current time. You paid for a room and walked up to it. You were surprised by how comfortable the room was. You hear a voice from beside you in the hallway. "This is the undercity as I see it could be." You look over, only to see a misty figure with no recognizable features, except slitted eyes that shine through the fog. "There is more than what you saw, but change will be coming, whether you want to be a driving force or not, is up to you." The dream vanishes, and you wake.

Lias growled again and punched the pillow behind her. Her head pounded, and the dizziness didn’t help. She sighed and rubbed her eyes.

Even if these people wanted that, they had to have ulterior motives. Someone was paying them. For all she knew, it was the owner of that “bar”, just trying to track her down once again. These people… she couldn’t trust them….

Why couldn’t they just have completely gotten rid of my heart..

The bar below was completely silent

She squinted slightly. Even the barkeep? Something weird was going on.

The front door of the inn was locked

Panic started to seep in. She tugged the door over and over, shaking aggressively when she couldn’t open it.

Nothing you seemed to do worked to get the door open.

All logic shut off and she began to hyperventilate. Her eyes couldn’t focus. She felt sick, and felt an emptiness in her lower torso.

You remember that most bars have a back exit somewhere else, it was usually locked, but might be easier to get out than the front door.

Her knees didn’t have the strength to walk there. She crawled, shivering, across the floor.

The door stood wide open, leading into a side alley.

She forced herself to rise to her feet and she ran through the alley.

The alley ended in a dead end, but was open to the sky(of the undercity)

@Hoid Slayer

@Sherma Main

You are both in the same room, with a wooden table in the middle, and another man sitting at one end of it.

The terror she felt was amplified and she couldn’t think straight.

"Why are you so afraid?" Said a voice from atop a nearby wall

She didn’t answer. She owed answers to no one.

"Nothing's going to happen if you don't answer me."

One of her hands went into a loose fist. Not in an angry way. It was more comforting than anything else.

"Same with the converse, I suppose."
