What style of music would you like to see in a Cosmere show/movie? There is a lot of potential for vastly different genres, but I feel that any Sanderson work needs music worthy of the writing. I for one would like a Lord of the Rings style soundtrack for a Stormlight show. Something that would capture the same vibes of a vast world with epic storytelling.

Adolin listens to the goofiest music you know in the most earnest way possible. 

His playlist is Linkin Park, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, Foo Fighters (but not Nirvana), Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Breaking Benjamin, and whatever Shallan tried to show him that month. 

That's what I want out of a storm light show. An Adolin motif that plays during big climatic moments for his character or whenever he enters the scene. Something that conveys "high school jock that deserves his popularity and you kinda hate him for it but he's also such a great guy that you can't help but love him." I don't know what that sounds like. Adolin's the type of guy to get on the aux and say "here comes a weird one" and then play "Float On" by Modest Mouse. 

Lift listens to Baby Shark and the Gummy Bear album. And Crazy Frog. I do not want to hear any of that nonsense any time Lift comes on screen, though.

A Guardians of the Galaxy type motif, I see. I get that.

I feel that Dalinar listened to a lot of death metal as the Blackthorn, but made a hard switch to just classical music. 

Shallan has three different playlists for each personality. 

Kaladin's playlist has sad music (maybe country style), with random bits of what Syl found funny that day.

Oh please no. Although yeah she does. And makes Wyndle listen to it and he hates it.

Wonder what Hoid would listen to... There's this one cover of Vivaldi's Spring that accidentally played one time that turns into like beatboxing halfway through and I always imagine Hoid during that messing with performers.

I'd want Dalinar to have two different motifs - a current Dalinar motif, which is basically hopeful, rhythmatic, not too crazy, and then a Blackthorn motif, which is basically the current Dalinar motif but messed up to be darker and more chaotic. Then maybe a third one for kinda the time period between the Rift and Cultivation / essentially his guilt, which would be a mix between the two - darker, but more melancholy instead of loud and attention drawing. Then during the "You cannot have my pain" scene the three motifs could be interspersed, with the "guilt" variant of the Dalinar motif playing during the first half slipping into the Blackthorn motif in places, then it shifting into the current Dalinar motif. Also like a blend between the current Dalinar motif and Blackthorn motif for the Thrill-into-gemstone scene, where it's the Blackthorn theme but less dark, more hopeful. Maybe interspersed with a Thrill theme bc that pops up a lot.

I won't go into other motifs bc I've created quite the text block with one book's worth of character progression...
