Rynturning_Light She/Her Posted September 29, 2025 Posted September 29, 2025 General overview: My friend and I decided to go as Windrunner (me) and Honorspren (her) for Halloween. I'm planning to do the Windrunner military uniform, and I can't decide whether I should get both a Bridge Four and Windrunner patch, or stick to only the Bridge Four patch. The current conflict is where exactly I'd put the Windrunner patch on my costume, cause the Bridge Four patch is supposed to go on the upper arm and the Windrunner one doesn't have a set place. Any advice/input would be greatly appreciated!
RoyalBeeMage he/him Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 i kind of imagined that the windrunner patch was opposite to the bridge 4 patch... so on the upper left arm? or right? i dont know which one's which.
Mags she/they Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 When I made my very rough bridge four uniform for a cosplay in high school, I put the patch B4 on the upper arm as described, and then drew the wind runner symbol on the back with paint pens. I used a random thrifted blazer for the base lol, it was my first cosplay. So I guess I'd recommend the back because it's a nice big space for the complicated pattern, and it's nice and visible. You could also place it on one of the breast/front panels if you wanted, that would still like "military-ish." Or you could even do it on the arm but under the B4 patch. Having a lot of patches next to each other always looks military in my head. That's my two cents o7
KnightSkye Reforged They/Them Posted October 29, 2025 Posted October 29, 2025 I just did a Windrunner cosplay, and the way I found I like it most was with the bridge four patch above the Windrunner patch on the right arm, and I embroidered the fancier windrunner glyph on to the back as a large outline and did the glyph for 5 (the ideal I am at) on the upper left arm, since I think that a way of signifying that would be part of their uniforms eventually. 1
