"Just an old man with nothing better to do than help." He said, moving to help support her. "You may call me Mr. E. What is your name, may I ask?"

She shook her head. Closer up, he could more easily see shiny golden patches on her pale skin.

"I see. And you are one of merfolk?" He said, having seen her come in and seeing the shiny patches.

"Hello! I'm, uh new here. Can someone help me find my room?"

Of course you can! Your character will need to check in first!

A smiling hotel worker waved them over. “Welcome to Breakwater Suites! Would you like to check in?”

Alright.

"Yes. I'm the changeling? My real name here should be Kjerled. Spelled K-J-E-R-L-E-D. I'm here with my pet Wyvern, Kiro-Kiro?"

also pronounced keh-gerald

"Perfect!" the worker typed the information and then handed Kjerled a key card. “ Our more pet friendly rooms are usually found on upper floors but really they could be anywhere. As the worker spoke a door open from the wall behind them. “Just step right through here. If you have any questions, concerns or needs call room service they’ll probably help you out!”

"Alright! Thanks!" She stepped into the door. (what does my room look like?)

Just like a fancy hotel room. Probably one bed. Some small "kitchen" space. A bathroom. Like that.

(Allright, I'll just assume it's daytime)

Kjerled looked around, her shape being just an average human, looking out at the massive suites. "Nothing better to do," She said, dialing the number for the suite's office. "Hello? May I ask, do you have a pool and/or conveniently placed beach? And if so, may I know where?"

As she dialed, Aria knocked on her door.

"Hm? Who is it?" Kjerled said as the reciever buzzed. Kiro-Krio ran at the door, causing it to shake. "NO! Kiro-Kiro! Calm down! Agh, I'm sorry!"

You all come from various worlds across the universe, but you all got here in a similar way. Recently a massive building appeared just off the shore of an ocean or large sea, standing steadily against the waves. It is easily visible from the nearest civilization, but somehow no one saw it appear. Those who investigated met polite and friendly staff at the entrance, who called the place "Breakwater Suites" and invited anyone who would give them an ear the chance to stay, free of charge. Perhaps you were among the first to approach it or were brought to it later by the news of the strange arrival. Whether or not you intend to stay, whatever your reasons, you all ventured inside.

After entering through grand double doors (or the fancy spinning one) you are immediately greeted by hotel workers in extraordinarily clean black and white uniforms at a check-in desk. Behind them is a wall that obscures the rest of the hotel from view. The wall is decorated with positive reviews, newspaper articles praising the hotel, and certificates about safety and such. They all seem to frame a giant bold and colorful sign.

Welcome to Breakwater Suites!

An ever changing ever new experience for the adventurous!

Among many other exciting things those who choose to stay here will have the privilege of enjoying features such as…

  • Olympic Sized Pool
  • Extensive Gym
  • State of the Art Training Centers
  • Magic Classes
  • Expansive Library
  • 24/7 Food Services
  • And so so much more!

We hope you have an entertaining, enjoyable, and adventure filled visit!

Meh im used to it

Like this

But a child

Aria backed up. No, no, no…

”Monster,” she hissed. She had to kill it now, before it grew into something truly dangerous. She’d never killed one before, but at this size, surely she could manage. “Stay back,” she ordered the person inside. “I’ll get rid of the beast, and then you’ll be all right.”

"Woah! Hey!" Kjerled said, opening the door. "This monster doesn't need slaying! She's, uh, just like a dog! But scaly!" She backed Kiro-Kiro back into the wall. "Iiiiiiit's all right!"

Aria blinked. “You control it?” She’s dangerous. No wonder the Knight is here. “Most dogs are greedy things, sick enough to kill the unwary.” She’d have to kill it when its protector was distracted.

"No. She's like... the good, scaly version of dog. But also kinda stupid sometimes. Anyways, who are you and what do you need?" Kira-Kira floped onto a nearby dog bed.

Samuel steps in the front door, briefcase in hand.

Deep breaths

Everyone thought he was crazy when he decided to try and apply for a job at that new hotel, but he is just so desperate

He walks up to the front desk, and glanced to the side at the reviews, then looks back at the woman sitting there.

"Hi, my name's Samuel, and I was wondering, are you hiring?"
