Breakwater Suites

You all come from various worlds across the universe, but you all got here in a similar way. Recently a massive building appeared just off the shore of an ocean or large sea, standing steadily against the waves. It is easily visible from the nearest civilization, but somehow no one saw it appear. Those who investigated met polite and friendly staff at the entrance, who called the place "Breakwater Suites" and invited anyone who would give them an ear the chance to stay, free of charge. Perhaps you were among the first to approach it or were brought to it later by the news of the strange arrival. Whether or not you intend to stay, whatever your reasons, you all ventured inside.

After entering through grand double doors (or the fancy spinning one) you are immediately greeted by hotel workers in extraordinarily clean black and white uniforms at a check-in desk. Behind them is a wall that obscures the rest of the hotel from view. The wall is decorated with positive reviews, newspaper articles praising the hotel, and certificates about safety and such. They all seem to frame a giant bold and colorful sign.

Rules, Reminders, and Things to Know

• Upon beginning residency at Breakwater Suites you automatically have access to things that are advertised above as well as things you would normally find in a hotel (like the tiny soaps and plastic covered cups).
• The longer the character stays the better your service will (probably) be.
• Should you require anything else, ask the hotel and/or a staff member and it will (probably) be provided for you.
• Magic and characters of all sorts are welcome.

Aria stepped into the lobby, scanning the room suspiciously. It was too nice. It wasn’t right. Why would he have come here? And where was here? 

Didn’t matter. She Saw that this was the place. Nothing left but to start looking.

The old man eyed Aria. He sat with a large mug in his hand, rocking slowly in his rocking chair. He wondered how long he'd take to realize the check in desk was right in front of her.

One of the workers at the desk turned her attention to Aria after finishing up with someone else.

"Welcome to Breakwater Suites Ma'am! How may I help you?"

She cried out and pulled away. She looked down at herself, apparently horrified. "What did you do to me?'

To clarify, she is usually a mermaid type being, but upon swimming into the hotel she was transformed. So she doesn't typically have legs.

The old man stared at the newcomers. Good haul today.

His skin was aged and looked almost mummified, in fact, if it weren’t for the steady rocking of his chair it would be doubtful that anyone would realize he was alive. 

He took a slow drink from his mug.

a person walks in she has really long hair almost down to the floor, a very pale complexion and a ball gown, all in all she looks like she would have been a fashion model in the Victorian era
