teknopathetic he/him Posted July 27, 2025 Posted July 27, 2025 (edited) The RPG Stormlight Worldguide gives lore that says that that Ba Ado Mishram was making Shadowform Fused before her capture, and it states that these Fused were haunting the City of Shadows aka Rall Elorim for 1000s of years despite being locked away in gemstones. Ba Ado Mishram creating her own Fused in a massive bit of news in my opinion. We knew she could grant forms of power, but creating new fused? Does Odium have power over these fused, or are they autonomous? When Ishar made his own fused, I got the impression Odium couldnt unfuse them directly, so one would assume a similar situation going on here with the Shadowform Fused. This even heavily implies tha Rall Elorim is called the City of Shadows because these Gem-Locked Fused were manifesting as Shadowspren from time to time and shrieking around the place. It makes me wonder if Shadowform is something Odium was doing, or if these fused were something unique seeing as these fused seemed to remain trapped in the gems and were not pulled back to Braize. "The Dirgehollow, At the base of the overhanging mountain where the streets are in near-constant darkness, the lawless district known as the Dirgehollow collects the poor and downtrodden. Here, the anti-Fused resistance enjoys relatively free rein. The district earns its name and reputation from countless stories of hauntings and terrible visions. Enigmatic shadowspren, wailing songs, and wandering figures all feature in these tales. Many beggars and urchins are afraid to stay too long on the streets of the Hollow, but they often have little choice. The stories reflect a tragic truth: The crypts beneath the Dirgehollow host the gemhearts of shadowform singers created by Ba-Ado-Mishram during the False Desolation. Trapped between the Cognitive and Physical Realms, these incorporeal singers have suffered imprisonment for millennia" - Stormlight World Guide P. 155 but then in the Stonewalker RPG say they are regals, not Fused... Caught between the Physical and Cognitive Realms, the shadowform Regals were the result of a plan enacted by Ba-Ado-Mishram to create powerful assassins. They each bound a shadowspren to their gemheart, making their bodies incorporeal—but unexpectedly, their gemhearts stayed solid. Ever since, the shadowform singers have been torn between two realms and have endured millennia of torment. ... Shadowform zealots are created when a human pierces their heart with a sharpened shadowform gemstone, allowing their body to be consumed. The resulting entities are driven by the fragmented memories and passions of the ancient singers. Edited July 28, 2025 by teknopathetic 1

Odium's Fused becoming Surgebinders has been a secondary change. It looks like Ba-Ado-Mishram's version consists of Regals. 1
