As the smell of burning flesh fills the swamp air, the body of what appears to be some sort of frog- a very mutated one.

Evitar, you recognize this as a Vel-thing, a creature that normally swims between the space between stars, and is native to the elder kingdoms. It's odd to find one past the Elder Seals, as they're not very prone to escape. Perhaps the witch summoned it?

Would you like to continue onwards, or turn back and find a boat?

Evitar kneels down to the body of the Vel-thing. He chokes back a sob. "You did good Vel-thing. You did good." He says as it dies.

He stays there for a moment in silence. Then he gets up.
