Yeah hi

Sundays are a day of rest - I shouldn't really be doing this. However, I just thought I'd let you know for future reference: I will very rarely be on the 17S on Sundays

Feel no need to post on Sundays, this thread goes rather slow anyway, we can wait a day.

The power of Valor held the sword up, never letting it sink into the pool of Investiture.

Valor would accept Ikaretekeketeraki'nantaríãī.

Two different pools called to him

Devotion.

Mercy.

Which would he accept? Would he accept either

Yavanna walked in a cirle around the pools, unable to contain her excitement. She had killed god. No more Adonalsium!

She felt one pool in particular Connect to her.

"Yav," Grace asked. "Can you not smile that ridiculous smile?"

Yavanna smile broadened as she stood in front of Whimsy. Grace sighed, before going to take Odium.

Anibelmeth considered. She could feel a Connection to a few of the pools, some stronger than others. But one would serve her needs best. She started towards Mercy but then paused.

The sword stayed floating. Ikaretekeketeraki'nantaríãī stepped away, confident that the power would accept him so long as the sword was still in the pool. He turned and walked back to the site of the horrendous deed.

"I am sorry."

And he wept.

Anibelmeth approached Ikaretekeketeraki'nantaríãī.

"Why do you mourn Adonalsium? What we did was right. We released them, saved them."

She turned.

Iairandeshi held out a notebook to her, humming to uncertainty.

Valor pulsed, the power not understanding Ikaretekeketeraki'nantaríãī. He had shown Valor in killing Adonalsium, but now... he was crying?

Ikaretekeketeraki'nantaríãī felt the power tremble. He knew its destructive capabilities, and knew, somehow he knew, that he must take it.

He Who Would Become Valor offered a rationalization. He wept, not from fear or loss of power, but from the grief. He was not afraid of what would happen next, tentative, perhaps, but not afraid.

No, every good commander or general feels compassion. That doesn't stop them from doing what needed to be done.

Feeling sorrow for what had to be done, but taking action anyway, was a mark of Valor that Ikaretekeketeraki'nantaríãī valued most.

The power... liked this, the liquid Investiture glowing brighter.

War is like this, a fact that I have had to face many, many times."

He raised a face, covered in streaked ash, to her.

"What we did was right. Many conquests are. That shouldn't stop us from feeling bad about what we had to do to accomplish them."

I'm getting Journey before Destination vibes from this.

Do we think that if we give Glass enough pings, she'll realise that this has actually started.

What do ya'll think we should do about Wyver? It doesn't look like she'll be on anytime soon.

A few questions. Who are the people we saved by killing Ado?

Where is everyone getting the idea that Yolen was destroyed?

- In WAT:

Spoiler

Odium and Honour and (I think) Cultivation almost fight, and then realise the repercussions of such an action.

Honour realises that this is the reason that Ado didn't fight back - so that there wouldn't be any destruction. From this I infer that Yolen survived. Nowhere does it say Yolen was destroyed - unless it was in DSP, which I haven't finished. However, remember that DSP is not canon

Yolen being destroyed is unique to this RP.

Adonalsium fought back a little bit, before he realised that he probably shouldn't destroy then Cosmere.

As for the people we saved, I don't know, make it up, we don't know much about anything pre-shattering.

'Cept that Tanner bought Cephandrius drinks once, but neither of them exist here.

The more notifs Glass has, the more likely she is to ignore the pings. You’d be better off pming her
