Olethros Deep Space Station.

Positioned just inside the Kepler Belt, it was originally used as a base for asteroid mining operations under Earth's jurisdiction. After the discovery and first contact of alien life, however, it became inhabited by many peoples, many not native to the solar system. It is now a popular trading hub where one can find many exotic goods.

A few million miles away rested the next closest station, the Hagion. Although this station was also originally meant to conduct mining operations, it was repurposed just before it's construction into a space where advanced civilizations could communicate more comfortably and securely.

But we're not here to talk about the Hagion. Our main focus should really be one the Olethros.

Because somewhere on the station, something stirred. Something small. Something crafty.

Something . . . hungry.

THANK YOU

Nico docks onto the station, fleeing a recent skuffel from the law in the inner systems. Pity that lunar chick wasn't willing to let him rob her. The Martian one was. He blames his good looks.

Kishinti stepped out of her starship. Everyone else seemed so tall here.

She walked downthe hallway getting more then a few strange looks. That was fair, Sildorians rarely left Avius after all.

She arrived at the starship registration after a brief walk and started waiting in the line to get her starship cared for.

A passerby met his eyes for a moment, then quickly looked away after finding him quite hideous.

Caught up in the hustle and bustle of the passing crowd, she found it difficult to find her way to the right line. It wasn't long though, and the attendant greeted her with a bored expression.

"Name?" he asked, clicking his pen a few times.

"Kishinti." She said barely visible above the desk

Aliens, man. How could they not find someone like him attractive! His mother, Lucia, in her youth, was quite the looker, too. Being an enhanced human does that.

He typed it into his computer, still clicking the pen.

"Ship name and type? Any problems?"

The person was, in fact, quite human.

A little scanner popped out of the wall next to her.

She quickly grabbed her ID in one paw and held it out to the scanner

Vire entered the station, still annoyed from his recent visit to Roshar. Everyone kept thinking he was... Vyre. His parents didn't even do anything about it.

Vire got out a strange device in the shape of a small box. It had wires spilling out of it.

"Who wants it?"

Vire is the cousin of my character in the current Sanderson Elimination and is human.

Cep (possibly human) slips out of a cargo freighter during the chaos of unloading. He immediately begins strolling away, acting like he belongs there.

There was a check-in room he had to get past to access the rest of the station. There was no way around it.

Of course.

Since the station was built, of course.

Security just left him alone at this point.

He leaves the main room to explore the part of the station where something awoke.
