What I meant wasn't what shard we got, I meant the actual wording of the deal of noninterference the shards keep bringing up.

The whole thing about "Originally, the Shards made an agreement not to interfere with each other, but they did not make a formal oath and many of the Shards chose not to keep to the agreement. Additionally, Honor felt he did not break the agreement by traveling with Cultivation, suggesting the wording of the agreement may not have been as precise as Shards like Endowment thought."

Is that necessary though? Cause we’ll all be interacting anyway

I mean the real shards did too!

I think we should just have like. "Don't kill each other" or "no more than 2 Shards to a system" as the rules.

I would like to know what the agreement between the Shards in Canon was before to kinda base this off of that, but we don't know what it was so...

Well it's not a rule. It's certainly not an Oath. And from what we understand two shards in the system kinda broke it.

Initially, it'll be the post-shattering chaos, and after that we could have century-long turns, until technology gets advanced enough across many planets or the Shards start a large-scale war. In both cases, the turns will slow down to decades or years.

Ok, thanks! that clears it up a lot.

Right now he’s in Roshar’s cognitive realm

Alright. I haven't actually read DSP, so I'm no expert on this.

@....., what is your character's speciality?

Manipulating electrons and molecular  bonds. although, I was also thinking that similarly to how Hoid’s Yolish  lightweaving isn’t working the way it’s supposed to in The Way of Kings microkinesis wouldn’t be working at 100% capacity either and might have extra limitations

I don't want to give anyone a Dawnshard just yet... I was intending on them being scattered throughout the Cosmere after Adonalsium was Shattered.

I will point out that Hoid was there at the shattering which makes it 17 people there and they used the dawnshards to shatter Adonalsium so if you want the Dawnshards to be scattered across the Cosmere, you’ll probably need to explain that.
Oh, and you also likely need to consider that Hoid kept his Dawnshard after The shattering

also, sorry for responding so late, I was really busy

I was thinking of making it so that the Shattering destroyed Yolen in the process, flinging the Dawnshards away. It only gave the 16 enough time to take a Shard and run.

Something something the weapon used to destroy ado was destroyed in the process, the 4 parts scattered across the cosmere.

I'll admit I'm also very tempted to make Devotion. Unending compassion and care, in the hands of a man who once committed a grievous crime , payed the price, and has grown from his mistakes.

Ok, that makes sense.

I assume the dragons found a way to relocate then?

also, I won’t be able to be on the shard at all for the next week

Yes. Some of them at least. The Sho Del too.

That should be fine. We still need 8 more Shards.

I feel it would be more fun to RP the agreement between Shards.

Yeah, if you all choose to do it, it must be RPed.

You're lowkey fine. I think all that this reveals is the name of the last shard.

Cause, of course we're not gonna actually reveal any story details of the real cosmere. Virtuosity isn't a death god.

Alright

I'm gonna hope that's not a big reveal now

It's mentioned off-hand once in a flashback. It's not even remotely relevant.

I guess so...

So is this gonna be like non-spoiler then?

Other than that reveal and some fancy investiture mechanics, most everything dealt with Rosharan issues, and the mechanics of Hoid. Hoid doesn't matter here, but anyone traveling to Roshar will likely need to be aware of this.
WAT

Spoiler

The Wind, Stone, and Night are important facts

To those of you who have read it, do you think we can talk about the results of the shards' fighting without spoilers? I think we can.

I don't see why we would need story spoilers tbh

Response to your WAT

Why would we need to explain the results of the Shards' fighting?

Is worldbuilding technically spoilers?

Spoiler

Shards are going to fight lol. Odium vs Honor destroyed stormseat. When one shard aims to preserve nothing bad happens, when each shard wants to destroy the other, bad things happen.

My rule of thumb is once it's out of it's spoiler period, worldbuilding spoilers are fine, but story ones are not.
