I think it’d be bad form for Valor to die in such a way, so early. Sure, the supernova is damaging, but I don’t feel that warrants a “whoops, valor’s dead.” Especially since ThatOneWorldhopper hasn’t reacted yet.

The supernova is not the thing that kills Valor.

the supernova will wound valor, but not too bad.

I mean, whatever power the blackhole could output would be naturally below that of a Shard, would it not?

It's not what the black hole outputs. It's what it inputs. Valor could get swallowed.

BUT if the black hole eats all of Valor, then it'll have more Investiture from Valor than Virtuosity. So... Valor could at least become a significant part of its personality.

(And like, I dislike such a turn of events, narratively. Guys shows up to stop something, whoops he could do nothing anyway, he was always gonna be too late, and dies without input. Like… not a good precedent, perhaps?)

But, this would be a turn of events that is not cooperatively designed, right? This is a player playing a narrative game being denied larger input.

Well, he could make a new character, or maybe play the black hole itself, who knows maybe Valor itself is still alive inside the singularity.

We'll ask. There's a fair chance He could run, and only loose a few chunks of his power. Of course, how the shard reacts to that remains to be seen.
