Let's be Radiant [WAT SPOILERS]

So

Just for fun, I decided to retake the Knights Radiant Quiz, since I hadn't done so since actually saying the Words.

Every time I'd done it before, I'd gotten Truthwatcher, which I feel matches me.

But this time...

Elsecaller. Not too surprising, as it is one of my Orders, but I'd expected to get Lightweaver if it was going to be something different. Nowadays I see myself as Truthwatcher first, Lightweaver second, and Elsecaller third.

Now the question is - what changed? I know Elsecaller only leads by 3%, but still. I don't feel like I'd changed very much overall, so I feel like the change is in how honest I am with myself. I remember entering some really different answers the previous time...

I really did expect Lightweaver to be higher. I guess the Artistic/Scientific question weighs a lot into it. As for the other Orders, well, Bondsmith was to be expected; it's intentionally made harder to get. Willshaper is interesting, and I can see myself becoming one, eventually. Skybreaker was expected; I do feel quite Skybreaker-y on the outside, though I know that I am not of that Order (I used to think I was), and the quiz isn't detailed enough to see through that. Windrunner, Edgedancer and Stoneward being in the bottom half was expected, though I did expect to see Dustbringer far higher up. I feel like it is an Order I may pick up eventually.

Anyways, I thought I'd share that with ya'll.

Lightweaver (literally me) and will share aren’t surprising, although edgedancer was, at least a little.

Not gonna say any other orders words, simply because (my Unoathed part speaking here) I don’t love oaths. Lightweavers I consider different.

…how on earth did you get NEGATIVE percentages? I don't think that's supposed to happen.

'Tis possible

A lot of his values were just on the opposite side of the Skybreaker, Elsecaller and Bondsmith Ideal Values I guess

Still Stoneward, which tracks; also makes sense that Windrunner is almost tied, and that Skybreaker is pretty high. Surprised that Lightweaver is so low, but I guess that's kinda to be expected, given that that's the side of me that I hide the most from others.

Also interesting that Bondsmith is a solid 40%, but I guess that makes sense; a lot of the stuff I've been doing lately has been Bondsmith-ish.

I likely will not swear any oaths for any other orders. I view the oaths of the Stonewards and the Edgedancers to be similar to the Windrunner oaths and I'm not sure about me being an Elsecaller.

Not of Skybreaker. If anything, I'd add Lightweaver, but I'm still holding that off till I manage to accept my last Truth

listen, only reason I follow the law is because of consequences. I don’t believe that specific laws can ever fully capture morality, and the only reason I would follow it over my own morals is because of fear.

Yeah. Laws do a very poor job. I recognize what they are trying to do, and that they are needed, but... They are very imperfect.

I answered letter of the law not just for actual laws, but for rules in general.

I like finding loopholes.

I retook the quiz and got tied Edgedancer-Windrunner. This is the first time they've been tied, but it's always one or the other with the other a couple of percent behind. The Edgedancer makes sense to me, as it's one of my second ideals, but I've never been an excellent Windrunner. I can see why Bondsmith is 3rd, though, and I might end up swearing a second ideal in that order too.

I believe in the spirit of the law, but the law must be followed sometimes. Corruption is the failing of society and as a Windrunner, I have a duty to protect people and therefore society.
