So, i’ve been playing a lot of indie games lately, and i figured i want to make a place for any other indie games fans to hang out :)

i just finished my first playthrough of hyper light drifter, and it was amazing, worth the 5 bucks.

Hades is a peak game, and I'm excited for the sequel (I'm not spoiling myself with Early Access)

I honestly enjoy indie games more often than AAA games and mainline games (Not sure what to call them really). Among my favorite games (in no particular order) are

  • Undertale
  • Deltarune
  • Celeste
  • Terraria
  • Hades
  • Slay the Spire
  • Enter the Gungeon

And those are just my favorites. If we include games that I just think are good, it's still mostly indies.

Anyone like Hades?

I think it’s indie

Hades is probably one of my all time favorite games. I’m still trying to beat the game with high heat

I've got up to heat 32, haven't really bothered much after that, since I'll have Hades II to play. (Also wait, why does it use Roman numerals in the title if it's about Greek times?)

I think palworld counts, right?

thats the closest I’ve gotten so far as I’m aware…

I think it, by definition, counts, but most people don’t think of it as one.

Hollow Knight = Best game ever

Hollow Knight is great. Too bad they're not making a sequel

Spoiler

The joke is that it's been taking a while for Silksong to come out

Hollow Knight is also a myth. We all just hallucinated Team Cherry into existence.

  • To The Moon
  • Coffee Talk 1 & 2
  • A Space for the Unbound (this is a must try!)

I personally also prefer indie games to big projects, as they often offer not only exciting mechanics, but also original ideas. The Messenger is a great game with platform elements and inspiration from the classic Ninja Gaiden. If you want to explore gambling with interesting bonuses and withdrawal options, check out https://casinoofthekings.ca/instant-withdrawal-casinos/, where you can find good offers with instant withdrawal. Indie games, like gambling, can be surprisingly exciting and unusual! If you like cards and strategies, then Slay the Spire is a great choice. I am very glad that you shared your favorite games, as the indie scene continues to evolve and discover new masterpieces.

And those are just my favorites. If we include games that I just think are good, it's still mostly indies.

If you like games with interesting mechanics and deep stories, I would recommend Dead Cells - a great roguelike with great combat and a beautiful pixel art style.
