Hey y'all sorry about leaving everything unread, I have been soooo busy

Yea I did take the test. 3 times, actually. I am def a Windrunner.

Ummmm books I've read. A lot of them lol.

Both Mistborn Eras

Stormlight 1-5 (And the novellas)

Warbreaker

Tress of the Emerald Sea

The Rithmatist

Skyward

Alcatraz vs. the Evil Librarians

and Mistborn Secret History. Thats all I can think of right now.

Umm I'd probably be a cat tbh.

Thanks for the questions y'all!!

Y'alls fav Brandon book?

Also WoR. I can open to any page within the book and I'll just start laughing. Rangers Apprentice is on my TBR, actually.

Fav book not by Brandon...

Legendborn, by Tracy Deonn. The third book came out this March and I'm still in shock. Like, it put me in actual, physical, SHOCK y'all. 🤩🤯

HIGHLY recommend. IT WAS SO GOOD.

The first book was good, and then each book just gets better.

That and Stormlight are my birthday gifts this year, actually 😅

Hello, welcome to the Shard!

What's your favorite Compounder ability set?

Steel. No questions asked. Being able to push on metals, and speed up your movement on the ground?? SO handy.

lol also I just realized that my rep is a spearman. kinda funny given that im teaching myself how to use one. *flourish*

I honestly think there are better applications as an iron Compounder.

I feel steel is too overpowered anyways

best compounding in hands-down Chromium. infinite Fortune, plus if an enemy compounder comes after you with metalminds they can burn, you can just render their metalminds inert by touching them

Honestly, favorite Sanderbook is Tress and the Emerald Sea.

What does iron do in feruchemy again?

I considered that, but I would hate to have to store that fortune lol. The metalminds almost make up for it but... I'm not a patient person so... 🙃

Oh I love Tress!! Fav character?

Maybe fort or Huck, or of course Tress herself

Iron compounding is op because when you steel push or ironpull, the strength depends on your weight.

The heavier you are, the stronger the push/pull, and the less you move

Plus, pulls to move yourself are much more effective when you’re lighter.

Hmm, Do you know about how compounding works, because, with it you would only have to store a little bit of fortune and then compound it a lot.

The issue here is when they steel push you away from them. I would imagine that in the majority of metalborn fights, it would be kinda difficult to touch someone, seeing as lots of the powers have good movement capabilities, and/or reflexes.

Y'alls fav Brandon book?

Hello. I have questions.

Do you like Mistborn? Do you like Dragons? DO YOU LIKE WAYNE (note: our friendship is on the line here. If you choose wrong, no frenship)? Do you like feruchemy? Do you like hemalurgy? Top 2 cosmere magic systems?

also, TLM (because "Yes, you did go out in the biggest boom")

Ok so I think our friendship is intact bc I LOVE WAYNE.

Mistborn is my second fav series and the first Brandon book I ever read!! I actually did a Vin cosplay this year, for a library event.

I think feruchemy is SO COOL. Also, Sazed makes me laugh. (Wayne's final question made me drop the book bc I was laughing so hard I couldn't hold it. The biggest boom. 🤣)

and um no sorry, Hemalurgy freaks me out. I'm good. I'd rather bond a spren. (What order of Knight Radiant are you?)

Ummmm I really like Allomancy and (Gak what is Roshars magic system called? I just call it the music planet in my head 😬😂)

Thats why I'd compound steel! But, I see your point.

What are your thoughts on The Rythmatist?

Umm one I was kinda fuming by the end bc I thouht it was a standalone and DID NOT prepare myself for any kind of cliffhanger whatsoever. *sigh* Rookie mistake with Brandon I guess lol.

Ahh see your point. Still, I'd prefer to be faster on the ground, bc its something I value. (See: spear training thing above)

Literally everyone who has ever read the Rithmatist fr.

The issue with steel is similar to Miles and how he can't stop compounding gold and would like die or experience extreme withdrawal, and so if compounding steel you would likely get to the savant state https://coppermind.net/wiki/Savant and would always be faster than everyone else. Also its kinda overpowered and if you have no challenge when defeating bad guys then it gets lame and you gotta do a Megamind.

It’s basically impossible to die with infinite fortune, especially if you have the ability to make anyone you touch wipe their investure reserves. If you’ve read the reckoners, thing of fortuity but better.

music planet is crazy

surgebinding (and whatever spren is)

I am a willshaper (kind of, but also a lightweaver ig? idk. me is just weird like that)

hemalurgy is cool my dude. I'm not that big of a fan (and I would never use it irl) but the possible applications for the entire cosmere is awesome. I even have a theory about aluminum hemalurgy being op (and it is, unless you believe the other people)

but that's fair.

NO KIDDING!

haha we're good, I'm a weirdo too. Like, weird even for a weirdo level weird. 😅 and you already know I'm a Windrunner so..

Also the Lightweaver spren is a cryptic. I forget what spren Willshapers bond with.

Ok fair, it's a cool theory but a terrifying practice.

What's your theory on aluminum Hemalurgy? I'm new to the shard so I havent done much exploring.

oh boy... oh boy...

Its a theory that a dude with an aluminum spike could solo the entire cosmere

well, they would also need some like other stuff too, but they could easily.
