Aela eyed him for that.

He blushed, but eyed her back. My little sister.

It's just that . . . she had already been hugging Felicity, so how his hand was on her arm.

He hadn’t realized. He kinda felt bad. But Felicity was more important, so he narrowed his eyes at her again and shifted his arm around Felicity’s waist.

“When he survived, Madness had already been corrupting him for some time, behind the scenes. He snapped, telling himself that he was protecting Intellect’s people. But… they were all already dead. I was one of the only survivors. He rampaged through the halls, and twisted their hatred into a great hunger.”

Ista stopped, and stammered a small amount. “It was the only example of mass cannibalism I’ve seen… of any cannibalism…”

”Mirth was… she wasn’t the same, after that. The entire reason she choose only a single Servant is because she knew her power was so much stronger than the others.”

She listened respectfully, through she could feel Mirth’s pain at his betrayal.

Ian put an arm around her protectively.

Ian’s eyes were very wide. He didn’t know anything about any of that.

He wasn’t sure what he’d done wrong, but he pulled back anyway and decided to go beat himself up somewhere else.

He left anyway and found a bathroom somewhere, then stared in the mirror at his stupid face.

You idiot. What were you thinking? You can’t just force yourself on people like that. They don’t even KNOW you.

“You should just crawl under a rock somewhere and hide forever,” he told his reflection. “Then maybe you wouldn’t do stupid stuff like this. You’d find a way, knowing you, though.”

And he had to travel with them still…

He didn’t want to. He found some room on a different part of the train and stayed there, hiding.

“I’m a little nervous, but I’m also excited…”

Cye stayed respectfully close.

He’s a very anxious lil boi

if he feels like he did anything wrong, he won’t be able to look them in the eye for a week

and that was pretty bold for him, going protective like that

so he feels bad about Aela too

Ian didn’t really want to leave, even though he knew he had to. They’d be so mad…

It took him ten minutes to convince himself to leave the train. Then he walked over and carefully examined a concrete pillar to give everyone an excuse to not talk to him.

She should be yelling at you or something.

She probably had some choice words for him. He plodded over, feigning great interest in the ground.

“S… sorry.”

He honestly could hardly remember what he’d even done. Tried to steal her family, right.

“I-“ She licked her lips- “I don’t know what to expect, how would I treat someone like this?”
