If it can't pierce dragon hide, then we have no chance to kill one.

Young dragons, maybe.

One of the only things I can think of that could hurt a adult dragon, is a sniper rifle.

There is a difference between shooting a dragon from a hundred meters and stabbing a dragon, they have certain, magical or otherwise, vulnerabilities that pertain to melee vs. siege weapons.

Can I be a helpful dragon? Also what's the magic system? Are you just saying magic and calling the day, or is there an intricate cosmere style magic system? Or is there a structured not too intricate magic system? I need mor context than just: MAGIC

Yeah, you can be a good dragon (but you have to convince the heroes of that that first) and the magic is closest to that of D&D.
