Little trick: I didn't learn English in a class; I did it by reading. I would get English copies of my favourite books and read them sure by side with the English, and eventually I started reading them without the French version. It took some years before I first-read a book in English. Also, movies and YouTube and later the Shard.

I didn't do that for German, I just learned my lesson in class. And my German is terrible.

German especially I feel like has those exceptions that don’t get taught, and those can trip you up. I think learning from media is better a lot of the time

Though that might be because they or some reason willingly add a bajillion things to their schedule

The extent of my acting is for school and stuff, and that one time I took improv classes with a friend. It’s really fun lol. Yesss omg the typing thing, and it sounds so nice too

I have been an adult for a couple years now and I still don't feel like one and the idea of being like fully independent and working on my own and managing a flat and everything else is kinda terrifying
