Au world maybe?

So i wanna make a short story thing but i dont wanna do it alone, maybe have like help from someone. One or two people. And also have a way to contact them like discord or something or maybe possible phone number. I have sorta an outline. Let me know if you wanna help, i only need like one or two people.

So this planet is a bit far away from other planets. A lot of the inhabitants are hybrids.. maybe. And they have like a very very technologically advanced planet. They have robots and ai that is fully sentient, the “heroes” of this planet all have like ai that are their helpers, the mc is gonna have one and they are gonna be the hero like cops or military but they find out a secret about the government and then they have to escape before they get caught and it maybe will take them to other pre existing planets and they could possibly meet real characters if we want them to.

I don't really have time to make another world, but I can help with some of the cosmere stuff. If you want hybrids (What do you mean by that? Half humans?) and AI, you'll need a big magic system. Like probably a major shardoworld?

Like humans that have animal traits like wings tails ears etc. and as for the technology… it could be powered by like a source or…. Something… hmmm i dont know

If you want it set in the cosmere, you'll need to figure out the magic system, at least roughly, before you get to far. Maybe somehow... hemalurgy related? The source is human souls? That's the big reveal?

Hmm that could work. I was thinking @xinoehp512 might be able to help. He’s got good stuff on the tlt. And that is a good idea. I dont know too much about hemalurgy though. I have read mistborn but that was kinda confusing. I was hoping that the magic system could be powerful but not absurdly complicated. If thats possible

The basics of hemulurgy is that you're stealing a part of someone else. For example, you could steal the wings from a bird (well, with modified hemalurgy), or intelligence and put it in a rock?

Oooh that might work actually. Could the hybrids theoretically be made that way? If so would they do that to everyone who is born or somehow make it genetically happen?

One would have to make them. Hemalurgy isn't a genetic thing, typical need to physically spike something and rip a bit of it's spiritweb (soul) and put it in a spike, which then gets put into the recipient. k. Maybe as like, a coming of age thing? You turn 16, pick your spikes, then live. 

If you want to call it hemalurgy, the general vibe should stay the same, but you don't have to use Metal. You could use crystals, wood, rock or bone as spikes, anything goes!

If you want it less dark, maybe you have splinters of Endowment that look like animals bless babies at birth with animal traits?
