scottos Posted January 6, 2025 Posted January 6, 2025 With the Stormfather vaporized and no more Highstorm, I'm curious to see what role Syl plays in the future. The ending of W&T made it sound like some changes take place in Syl, possibly inheriting her fathers role: Quote "She glanced at him, and as she did, he saw a storm in her eyes. Not a metaphoric one, but actual lightning and swirling clouds, filling them. In a moment, she wore something very different. A regal gown, fit… for a queen." This makes me wonder if when the heralds return, if Syl will help address the Stormlight problem and the current lack of Highstorm. 1

bdoble97 Posted February 2, 2025 Posted February 2, 2025 I would love her to be able to have a physical body. I have wanted her and Kaladin to have a romantic relationship. Kal has gone through so much and Syl has been ther for him. To me I have felt that Brandon has given hints to us that there could be more then just friendship between the 2. With them dancing together and Syl trying to be able to touch and interact with objects in the physical realm. When we got the one POV Syl chapter I was really thinking we were going to go into her internal thoughts much more. But I am a hopless romantic and LOVE a good love story. 2
