Aluminum and Oathgates

We know that aluminum is often used as a barrier to stop surgebinders. Given this, What would happen if you had a large amount of Aluminum on an oath gate? would it transfer or would it stay in place? Would it interfere with the ability of Oathgate transportation? for example if you had an aluminum dome around the control room, would that stop the Oathgate from working?

Aluminum can block effects in the Physical Realm but does not seem to disrupt Realmic effects and/or transitions, given that they could Soulcast inside a box of aluminum that time.   So I dont think so, as long as all the aluminum was inside the radius of effect.   But if it were crossing the edge boundary it might collapse the effect in the same way it will pop a speed bubble.
