Β  Hello there. I was first introduced to Sanderson by a friend who got me to read the Alcatraz vs the evil librarians series. A few years later, (I think I was about ten) I discovered The Stormlight Archive. I enjoyed it immensely. I was not aware of the Cosmere at this point. I read and reread Stormlight several times before eventually looking for more works by Brandon. I read the Rithmatist, the Steelheart trilogy, and finally, Mistborn.

Β  While I was reading Mistborn, I stumbled across Hoid. I had already decided after reading Stormlight that there was more to Hoid than meets the eye, but I had not expected to find him jumping between books. It was at this point that I did some digging and discovered the Cosmere.

Β  Over the last few years, I have been pursuing the Cosmere and it's secrets. It has become my obsession. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time for leisure reading, but I have almost finished reading all of the Cosmere currently in existence. I believe that the only books I have yet to read are the second half of Bands of Mourning and The Lost Metal.

Β  My favorite character is Hoid.

Welcome to the Shard!

I see you are a person of taste--Hoid is one of my favorites too lol.

What's your least favorite Sanderson character?

Do you like bagels?

What's your favorite Allomantic and Feruchemic metals?

Individually, probably brass for allomancy and either steel or chromium for feruchemy. If I were Twinborn, I'd probably be double chromium. I also think it would be fun to be Twinborn with Bendalloy and chromium because then you could shoot out of speed bubbles with a moderate chance of success.

Hmm... Probably either Scadrial or Sel. We haven't seen Yolen though, so I don't know for sure.

Yes! A fellow Hoid fan! What is my least favorite character? Hmm... Good question. Are we counting non-Cosmere? If so, then Alcatraz. I find him annoying. He spends too much of the story whining and saying how terrible he is and then proceeds to strut about with the biggest ego on the planet. As for Cosmere characters, probably early Shallan. She gets better, but I always find her boring at first. Her story starts to get more interesting to me around when she gets poisoned.

Your last question is just silly. Of course I like bagels.

PS: Your signature says you are reading The Name of the Wind. Just read that about a month back. Great book. Two thumbs up. πŸ‘πŸ‘

No. It's an abomination.

I enjoy the mystery. We haven't really seen much interaction with Highspren. They are strange and aloof. Where other spren form emotional relationships with their knights, Highspren are different. They are an anomaly. Other radiant spren seem to unanimously detest them, but no one has said why yet. They watch.

Hold on. Are you talking about Highspren or starspren? I think I changed to starspren, but I'm seeing Highspren when you quoted me. Either way, they're both awesome.

I kinda feel the same way about Shallan actually, I didn't like her at first (though I didn't hate her), but in the later books I find her very interesting and even fun to read about . . . though I found her arc in RoW a little flat, I'm looking forward to what she does in WaT.

PPS: Hehe yeah I'm about 3/4 of the way through and I'm really enjoying it! It's been slow going because studying takes up so make time, but I'm trying to finish it before the month ends.
