We did not see any issues during the Battle of Thaylen Field when Nightblood was unsheathed and "eating" Szeth and Lift. However, has this issue been addressed in any WOBs? 1

No direct WOBs, but we do know that Nightblood will consume whatever they can get - and can consume a Spren; but Spren can also voluntarily sever their Nahel Bond. So I would expect a spren in danger of being consumed by Nightblood to at least consider severing the bond if Nightblood should endanger them and/or their Radiant. Also, would Hoid be able to tell that Rysn bears a Dawnshard? Solely from having born one before? (Maybe he'd be able to sense it with Breaths or some other mystery Investiture.)
