“I feel a lot,” the woman said with a smile.

"Gah!" said Bacon, jumping. "Who are you?"

“You may call me Isadore.” She swept a bow. “And who might you be?”

"Bacon the Bard," said Bacon, recovering quickly. He bowed in return. "Magician and Narrator extraordinaire!"

He conjured a top hat for emphasis.

“Of course.” Her eyes gleamed with amusement.

"Do you know where we are?" asked Bacon. "And what's up with that free food...?"

Dint looked at Bacon. “Who are you?”

"I'm me, of course! Who else would I be? You?"

He transformed his face into Dint's briefly for emphasis.

The blonde cloaked man, Telvan, stared at Bacon and groaned. "You're joking. Bacon. Bacon the bloody Bard. I met you once, but you probably don't remember it, but I do. " he said, stepping up to him and slapping him across the face.

The white-haired girl stood behind Bacon creepily, waiting for him to notice.

Bacon continued to not notice.

"Ow," said Bacon. "That's strange! I usually remember everything! What did I do to you again?"

"I didn't think you would." he muttered, "I planned the job, you got me in, you were supposed to get paid and let me have the staff, but you bloody made off with it, leaving me to rot in prison for six years. Six bloody years!"

"Uh," said Bacon. "Not ringing any bells. A staff, you say?"

Just now, Through The Living Glass said:

She crept a little bit closer and made a goofy face.

Bacon screamed in a very gratifying way and leapt thirty feet straight up.

"Not even a dinky LED, I'm afraid! But tell you what. If I ever run into a past version of you, I'll do exactly what you told me."

The girl laughed and sat on the ground.

Bacon glared at her from the ceiling. "Not funny," he said.

A ding goes off. "Olvax, please enter the testing room" and the doors open. @Dragonheir

Olvax strides through the doors, staff striking against the floor. Its grip is wrapped in similar leather to his robe, and the wood is well polished.

I assume entering the testing area means I can’t talk to the others. Of course, I don’t have a lot of time today anyway.

"I thought it was pretty funny," she giggled quietly.

"I suppose you are only a child," said Bacon haughtily. "So I suppose I will forgive you." He dropped down from the ceiling. "I don't suppose you know what's going on here, do you?"

She shook her head.

"No," she whispered.

"You say suppose a lot."
