shattering harmony

sOkay so I saw a post asking about how Shards can be slightly changed by perception of the vessel and it got me wondering, if Harmony is shattered do we think he'd brake up into Preservation and Ruin? The only other time that we see someone holding multiple shards shattered is Adonalsium, hat has some special circumstances but we do know from a WOB that its posible that they split into different intents.

That's all wrapped up in that RAFO. Let's say it's conceivable that the split could have happened in different ways.

if that is true then to me it seems possible that depending on the perception of the vessel and the person shattering Harmony that its possible that he splits into different shards that could add up to harmony for example order and chaos, or creation and destruction. now the biggest issue here would be that Harmony would have to be Shattered with Dawn shards probably to achieve the same results as the origonal shattering of Adonalsium. Another potential issue with this thematically is that you could end up with 2 shards with very close intent like Creation and cultivation. let me know your guys thoughts on this particular mater!

Per WOB it's possible but highly unlikely that Harmony would split to anything other than preservation and ruin.  But they have merged enough that it would take effort to split them even if Sazed died.

You once stated that it is plausible that with a different intent Adonalsium could have shattered into a DIFFERENT 16 shards. You have also said that Harmony is one shard (or could be viewed this way.) My question: Could Harmony split/be split into 2 shards OTHER THAN Ruin/Preservation (yet still complementing/opposite) with the right intent of the splitter?  And if not is this because Harmony is still too invested in Scadrial as Ruin/Preservation?

Almost anything is possible... but it is very, very unlikely that Harmony would split except back to Ruin/Preservation.

Excellent question. The shards are now intermingled, and would take effort to split apart. He would drop Harmony. (This is what Odium feared would happen, by the way.)
