Felicity laid on the bed in the room she'd been lead to. She'd immediately burrowed under the blankets for what warmth they provided, and began to relax. This was the first time in days where she'd felt completely safe. The night in the tavern was close, but she'd still been hunted then. This was the first time she was truly safe.

And she was still separated from her dad. Even with the blankets' warmth, knowing that fact still made her feel cold.

“Because I ‘killed’ the Duke. If I then stay with the people who worked for him, that means I’m working with them. And we need to surprise Rage, so we need to avoid giving it away.”
