That’s a lot of people…

As the group travels up the mount, they encounter a dark fog obscuring the path onwards, stretching out to the sides for as far as the party could see. The forest is… quiet… from inside this fog.

Hmm.

Aela walked a little closer and blew on it, seeing if it would react like normal fog.

How powerful is Fear? Compared to you main four?

Fear, unbound, is less powerful than all, save Anger, of us, should we also be unbound. But Fear is subject to less bindings of the Archstone than us, and his power is more accessible than any of ours, only requiring the owner to limit their own senses to grant the strength that, for you, comes in a tundra.

Hmm. So Rage is less powerful than Madness, Mirth, and yourself?

Yes. In the world of the Spirits, power comes from cunning, and Rage is a rather blunt instrument in that respect.

Cole smiles, temporarily touching down. He tears parts of his cloak to shreds, binding the planks together, then takes off hanging from the contraption. “I don’t know how physical Fear is, but getting hit by these should hurt.”

Fear has a physical form. Fear has manifested some version of himself in this world in order to guard the Archstone.

In response to previous post:

The fog will limit your senses, but not as much as before. The power does have its limits, and this is spread out much more.

“Interesting. How much could that hurt Fear? That’s probably why he didn’t want any pie. Of course, I don’t have any anyway.” Cole accelerates, funneling wind out of the way of his contraption and at him.

Would Calmsight help him do such a thing? What is it actually like?

Also, in answer to the question, no.

Imma wait for the various others to make too drastic stuff happen, but ya can step in if ya want.

Help him do what?

Btw your character is strengthened by light - more specifically non disorienting light.

Oo! That is useful… it’d be much better with Rage though. If Cole can understand underlying parts of reality, I was thinking he could set up the trajectories better. But overall I just want a more detailed description of what the Calmsight is like.

So Calmsight is generally confusing, if one does not know how to interpret the Archstone. Good thing you have the architect of the Archstone…

It is toggleable, so you can “inspect” things to enable it. With it, you can see things like whether you will be able to break it, if it is flammable, etc.

The Calmsight can also function to allow you to see, albeit clumsily, in the dark, or inform you if there are particles in the air.
