Cole wakes up, gathers his minimal equipment, and, while everyone is conveniently distracted by a Madness servant, he slips out the castle and begins to go on his potentially world ending quest. He whistles cheerfully as he walks, realizing it actually strengthens him enough to require no effort. @Ookla the Dragonslayer

But don’t worry, it was a strategic move. Because Madness, in turn, told me how the Archstone works. Or at least, helped me along my way - I still don’t quite understand it.

Cole uses a feedback loop of magic and wind to take off and fly, knowing he’ll move faster. He does spirals in the air, flying higher and higher. Then he dives, dropping in free fall for several seconds. @Ookla the Dragonslayer “I could stay up here forever! Perhaps literally, if wind can stand for food.” He does another barrel roll, then whoops, laughing.

She looked down. It was hard to tell whether she was angry or disappointed. But she was thinking. If the world was destroyed, it didn’t matter if she saved her father. 

“Fine.” It’ll was quick and snippy.
