"Great! I'll be stealthy, But not right now!" How do I even talk to Intellect? The cold powers seem useful, if that's the only way.

I don’t think Intellect would agree to that. But I do agree. “You may have to go through one of his Servants.”

Ice frosted his hands, encasing his hands and rendering him unable to move them for a short time.

"Be careful, or it might just catch up to you, too," she warned.

"I . . . I can't," she managed to get out. "It's not meant to-" she shuddered, "-to last longer than a minute or two, but I don't know how- how to melt it."

He released her, then stared in disgust. "You froze my hands flippantly when you don't know how to undo it? That's reckless, dangerous, inconsiderate, and incredibly rude. Don't you ever do this to me again unless you want a bullet through your head. I do not tolerate threats."

"It wasn't reckless or dangerous, in fact, it was only meant to annoy you," she gestured to his hands, where the majority of the ice had already melted away.

"And I don't exactly feel inclined to help you when you threaten to make things worse."

"If we'd been attacked right now," he said with exaggerated patience he did not feel--- he very much would have liked to strangle her, actually--- "I would have been useless and vulnerable until the ice melted. My line of work is not one that allows me the luxury of dealing gently with people like you."

He shook the rest of the ice off his hands and rested one on the hilt of his flintlock.
