It's not a major spoiler (and it technically is mentioned in Row), but maybe put in a spoiler box?

"Cant say I've played. reason why I suggest addition is that it is a simple game."

"What about poker?"

"again, i say addition is a simpler game, and easy to play. you simply roll two dice and bet on the sum of the dice."

It feels solid but also wet and cold to the touch. It jiggles a bit but there's a sense of solidity despite it's goopy nature.

The branches on the tree look great for a shaft. They could probably be removed without much effort.

Oh, we could use this as a spear. Evan finally sees some solid looking branches and decides to break off two of them.

"But it's probably best to be safe and if we fight someone we might want to use solid spears instead of whatever this is", Evan thinks, motioning to the goopy spear in his hand.

True. And gross.

She grabbed the goat skull and wedged it in the ground, then grabbed a nearby rock and struck one of the horns until it broke off.

She tossed it to him and began working on the other.

Find something to tie those together with.

The Greenspine roared in satisfaction as it finished the last of First of Noaman, who hadn't even noticed it coming.

"This," it said, "Is far too easy! Don't you agree, Beren?" @SpiritOfWrath

Evan grabbed a nearby vine hoping that it wasn't poisonous and wrapped it around the goat horn and the stick in order to make a spear.

The vine hung limply. This vine was just a vine.

Evan rewraped the goat horn, this time making it as tight as possible.

So.. uh-what do we do now? Are we going to go stabby-stabby to people or just try to survive?

As Evan dismisses the idea of using Goo Spear™ it dissolves and sinks into the ground.

. . . Did you just say "stabby-stabby"? And, um- yeah, let's just try to survive.
