"Yeah . . . and I'm not allowed to attack anyone anymore either," She said. It would be kind of boring on another island away from everybody, but she supposed that if it was safer that was all that mattered.

She clasped the side of the boat with one hand, a little wary. She'd been in boats before, just not motorized ones.

So when you drive one of these boats, you actually sit on the very back, and you're going to be really close to the water when you get going. There is a large metal bar sticking off the motor, and the "gas" as you put it earlier is a throttle on the end of that. You twist the throttle to the right to make the propeller in the water spin, and then you have to HOLD it like that while you're driving. You'll stop if you let go (it hurts your hand after a while), and if you want to go backwards there a little dial on the bar that you have to twist. I wouldn't recommend twisting it while you're going forward for obvious reasons, but also it's just bad for the motor in general.

Oh and it's going to be very hard to tip over once you're going even a little.
